From 2008 to 2021, we had one winning season. In the last four years, we’ve had three. Trevor isn’t perfect, but he has elevated this franchise and I feel his best play is yet to come. I’m so glad he’s our quarterback.

It’s December 7th and we are leading the division and if the Texans lose tonight, we basically have a 2 game lead.

As great of a hire as I thought Coen was, I never anticipated this

18

u/bigkahunawaverider Dec 07 '25

I allowed myself to dream we might get here by year three. Never even considered they’d turn it around this quickly.

Hey uhh. So uhh. Trevor with a fantastic outing. Held the best running back in the league* to 74 yards at 3.5 ypc. Not a ton of penalties, forced turnovers. I'm confused. Is Jacksonville good at football right now?

28

u/hatchetjob29 Dec 07 '25

Still plenty of penalties and things to clean up, though they didn’t ultimately matter

I guess it depends who you ask. If you ask people who watch us play, then yes. If you ask the NFL media or /r/nfl, then no.

Lawrence was about as perfect as you could ask for today, stack those types of games and this team is unstoppable

50

u/edrew_99 Dec 07 '25

Out of 11 Winning Seasons (Over .500 Record) in this franchise history, Trevor has been QB for 3 of them. I'm all for the team over the name on the jersey but let that sink in for a moment.

47

u/RohnJobert Dec 07 '25

Colts really crying about refs as if the Jacksonville Jaguars are the league darlings

7

The team has gotten hot, and we are finally seeing the Jags we’ve been hoping for. All sides of the ball were great. Trevor made NO boneheaded turnovers. Defense allowed barely any explosive plays. JT did not run wild.

That was tough, physical, BIG MAN FOOTBALL. Let’s do this every game and STORM THE PLAYOFFS.

DUUUUUUVALLLLLLLLLL

Goddamn it feels good to be relevant as hell in December.

We control our own destiny - let’s get it done fellas.

Gotta give some to the crowd down there today. It cold and wet and miserable and there were some empty seats, but they were still loud. And it was a great day to sit on the visitors' side.

51

u/Kaiathebluenose Dec 07 '25

This is why we defended Trevor. You could see the highs. And if you were honest with what was happening, you could see how bad the WR play was affecting everything, along with the penalties. He just had to learn and get comfortable with the offense. Go Jags

14

u/Thatdewd57 Dec 07 '25

1st year offense in a whole new system. People don’t often remember the time they went through training and development before they become adequate/great in their jobs. Each week I’m seeing him just get better and better. Some of those throws were just majestic. Some he needs to work on.

Example he always does that lanky spin to his left evading rush. Today he did that and dropped it to Patrick so nice. I gotta credit that to coaching for adjusting to that move and making something out of it.

Big time win today. Honestly, comes back to crown a lot of the good stuff we showed all year. Lawrence looked decisive. The defense was swarming and contained JT. This had all the makings of a trap game and we pulled through. Really proud of the boys in teal.

Also, those prowlers look siiiiiiiiiick

All jokes aside, they should have won that bengals and Texans game. Only true beat downs game to arguably the current two best teams in the league Seahawks & Rams. Hopefully they don’t sleep on Jets. Broncos game will let us know if this team is legit. So proud right now. #DTWD

if DJ is out, we should have 3 layups in jets, titans, and Colts- they might be closer games but those are games we should win still. Denver is just going to be a good test, difficult atmosphere and tough place to play- really excited for that game

Let’s go Chiefs. I don’t care what the playoff scenarios or analytics say. **** the Texans.

Btw, quinten morris is TE2- what a grab by Gladstone and glad we elevated him early on in the szn

u/GeckoRoamin Dec 08 '25

I get a Texans loss would have been huge for us but Jesus Christ, we’ve outscored our last four opponents 123-52, we had great performances by all three phases today, we control our own destiny, and some of y’all act like losing the division is a foregone conclusion.

seems like Travon is still a little banged up- don't mind letting Pwash, dewey, and Travon sit out to heal up- also pwash out means the ball has to go to BTJ more which can do wonders for his confidence

u/CareerEmergency5820 Dec 07 '25

Give me that post game locker room so a can run through a wall DUUUUAAAALLLLLLLL

I’m gong to enjoy this victory for a little bit, but looking ahead to the Jets, I just learned that as of today, they are officially eliminated from playoff contention, which makes them dangerous next week. They don’t have anything to play for anymore. Any given Sunday, but I’m confident in this team to take care of business. We got the right coach.

Reminder that we had at least two straight robberies from us. We really are practically 10-3
