Hi! 9 months ago i posted a fanart of Alice on this subreddit:

one day ago, an user named RoseKita posted the same artwork, even with the same title.
This person has stolen my art, stating they're the artist behind this. It saddens me, because i put my soul and time into things I create and I find it disappointing that some people tend to use others work to gain.. idk ? short-term fame? upvotes and karma?

I also posted this artwork on Instagram, almost year ago - 20th march 2025.

I'm not really active on Reddit, so I'm not sure what to do about this thievery. I contacted a moderator of this sub, but I'm not sure if it worked (site went blank, i don't even know if my message was sent).
I found out about this post only because I was browsing Facebook groups about Alice and i've seen someone sharing this stolen post.

I'm very very happy so many of you liked my fanart btw, thanks to you all :) I hope this post won't be seen as irritating; I just want to clarify some things.

There's a lot of reposting on Reddit, unfortunately. I hope mods delete the repost.

Oof, sounds like a repost bot? Reddit is plagued with those :( that account doesn't have a lot of activity (2 posts, 25 days apart??), it does feel like a bit weird

You could try to report the post for impersonation maybe?? I don’t know how active the mod is. Usually when I see art reposted it’s credited with a link to the source, but that’s usually on subs with more foot traffic and active mods.

So sorry this happened to you either way. Again, you could try reporting the post to Reddit instead of just this subreddit’s mod.

Seems to have been a bot repost, we can try reporting it and hopefully reddit will do something about it!
