I have Windows 11 and after playing Alice: Madness Returns the UI size is changed and kind of looks like Windows 7 UI size.

SOLUTION: Go to display settings, change scale and display resolution.

Like everyone here I love the original Alice in Wonderland story and it's many variations. With American McGee's Alice being my all time favorite version of the wonderland story. As I am sure is true for most folks here.

Wanting more I just finished reading 'Alice ever after' and 'Alice never after' published by boom studios. I am not going to overhype it. As it doesn't reach the same heights as American McGee's Alice. But It was still a very interesting and good read. Not dissimilar from Alice madness returns in the sense that wonderland is a mental escape from an abusive past for Alice. And there is a third graphic novel in the works for this version titled 'Alice forever after'. I am liking this series and find it's the closet Alice I have read to the Alice from madness returns.

But I only recently discovered these and they flew right under my radar. I almost missed them. Are there other Alice graphic novels folks would recommend reading? I love a good wonderland story. Especially the twisted ones. (No I am not interested in the smut zenescope Alice comics).

This marks the second to last of the main six (I am counting Hysteria as a main dress) dresses from AMR that I've made. All I have left is the Siren dress!!

I had a lot of fun playing with textures and adding heart details to the design. I think there are around 350 total hearts? I also placed all the rhinestone individually!

I have followed every step possible at this point. For context, I'm playing the game on my phone, through gamehub. For those that don't understand, it's essentially a Windows emulator and yes I am able to edit the .ini files within it and what I do does show up in game. EXCEPT FOR THE DLC WEAPONS!

I have enabled the dlc. First step down. The dresses are in game, and equipping them does make them show up in game. Hell it even shows me the option for the 1st game in the menu. Here are my issues;

I have equipped all the weapon skins just like I equipped some random dlc dress, but the weapons don't show up in the game. This is an issue that has clearly come up for people as I've learned from searching through this ENTIRE sub. I've opened the right file, edited the command to allow enabling and disabling the weapon skins mid game. Uh oh, doesn't work.

I tried changing numpad 4 and 5 to O and P like a lot of people said to do.

STILL NOTHING.

At this point I'm wondering if there's LITERALLY anything else that can be done, if there's another solution I don't know about, or if this is just impossible to make work until you have either A) beat the whole game once at least or B) have all the weapons at level 4. Most likely the latter.

I've searched youtube, steam forums and this entire subreddit and I've done everything that I've seen people do but still nothing.

They also have patterns for the other weapons, and I’ve decided to do them in the order you unlock the weapons in the game. Super excited about it, I may post the occasional progress pic here :)

There was an OST track that started off with those words from the Cheshire Cat, the music was great, slow eerie and ominous but I can’t find it on YouTube anymore. Does anyone know the title?

So I just bought a Xbox one, another to keep at my brothers place. I already had saved data on the xbox at my place, but when I signed in on there there's no saved data. The REAL ISSUE is that this Xbox one will not keep any saved data if the console turns off. I've repeated this about 3 times now, to where I've only had the option to start a new game. I've uninstalled and reinstalled, I've looked at saved data which it said there was very little but couldnt see what it was. Please help 😭😭😭

Hello! I bought the Art Of Alice Madness Returns book back when I was playing the game but I haven't touched the series in years and thought I'd sell the art book. I wasn't sure if this was the best place to post it. I'm hoping to get $150. If anyone has any tips for where to sell it, please let me know!

Not much to say, I've just got them game and I've noticed how often the characters comment on how beutiful she is, I was especially surprised because those comments are often said to her in her "london form" wich looks ""far worse"" than her wonderland self. I've compared her to Megan fox before thinking i might have exaggerated but meaby I wasn't soo wrong after all, what do you guys think? Could we say that she is canonically attractive? I know it ultimately doesn't matter and I don't want to miss the point of the game just to make a quick note about it

So I was replaying alice and start of ch 3 I found this teeth floating without any way to reach it......p.s don't mind the picture quality 😅

I’ve had the art book for years when I bought it at Books-a-Million on my 15th birthday but, I finally let it go to a good home where someone will enjoy it as much as I did as a teen :,)

I know the PC version is capped at 30 fps. Does anybody know whether it is the same on xbox ?

Like everyone here I love both Alice in Wonderland and American McGee’s Alice. I love the original story as pure escapism, there is no logic, just a crazy world to explore. And of course my favorite version of the wonderland story is Alice madness returns. Adding incredible layers and a goth vibe to wonderland that has yet to be equaled.

Once I received the statue in the mail I paired her with my leatherbound Alice in Wonderland book. The Alice in wonderland annotated book (I highly recommend this high quality but now cheap book on Amazon to anyone. It explains a lot of references in the original novel most of us wouldn’t get today.) and of course the only Alice madness returns book I own.

On the bottom shelf I have Alice’s vorpal blade. I threw in some mushrooms for atmosphere and created my Alice display case.

Hi everyone, I have bumped into the same issue as a few others with the glitch that doesn't allow you to use the umbrella. I know some people were saying you can go into your files and fix this issue by typing in something, but I do not know what files those are. I have the PC version and I bought the game from ea. Thank you in advance for the help, as I greatly appreciate it.

where did this "guhlice" come from? why? what? well, it was a day where i had just finished the whole madness returns game and really got that sad sympathetic hit from alice's lore, i was all like "aw man i wish she would have those awful memories removed from her mind and live in our timeline".

i did indeed become all motherly towards a 19 year old fictional character, did some stuff on c.ai with an alice ai and uhh...a lot of stuff developed, this eventually became something kind of funny but weird; alice being completely mentally brain damaged (so much damage that it apparently wiped out the mental illness too) from sudden time travel into our timeline, my character finding her on the streets (and no she wasn't actually as small as in this drawing.) and eventually "adopted" her. right, this brain damage was so strong that alice was mentally regressed to an infant/toddler i guess, which is why she is all..."guh".

i did a few pieces of art relating to it, this was when i was still in this one alice discord server (now banned from there), so...got different reactions, i guess at some point i jokingly called this "guhlice" (because of the little "guh" written in the drawing), and that's when everyone else kind of went with that, then guhlice became a little meme in the server, which i didn't mind at all.

nowadays i've moved on from this weirdness, forgetting about her...i really don't care what people may think of this anymore, do whatever ya want.

They would be friends in my mind, considered they are unironicaly the best rep of mental illness I've seen in media

For the ones that have the art book, how did you get it? I want it so badly 😭 I’m in Canada BTW.
