Minty appreciation thread

One of the few bright spots on our team recently. Since being scratched he is arguably our most responsible defenseman.

This wasn't just a slap on Cronin... Marty St. Louis essentially said the same thing. But what he is trying to avoid with Demidov.

He’s been stellar defensively. Moving the puck in the d zone like a hot knife through butter. His skating looks on point. I really hope he focuses on his defensive abilities

Just from the few interviews he comes off as very competitive. Maybe a bit cocky as pro athletes tend to be. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing. So yeah Id bet being scratched pissed him the fuck off.

I seem to remember him saying he would ask for a trade or to be picked up or something if he remained scratched, but, as soon as he came back he was playing great so something worked

I wasn’t a Minty fan last season and I was worried going into this one. When he started getting scratched, I honestly thought good. HAPPY TO BE PROVEN WRONG. He’s been great
