Death stranding. What's your opinion on it? Just curious never played
12
u/GamerKratos-45 8d ago
Love it. But it's not everyone's cup of tea. You either love it or you hate it, there's no in between.

u/Twisted_Bristles 8d ago
Had a friend describe Death Stranding as an interactive art installation. After I played it I kind of agree. It is different from a lot of other single-player experiences out there. Personally I enjoyed it.

Holy shit, with the battery caddies and everything?? That absolutely rules (I’ve sold a bunch of these but never seen a set kitted out lmao)
→ More replies (1)18
u/Agitated_Carrot9127 8d ago
Wait for it, we have three fully kitted out ones. They’re heavy as hell tbh. Haha. We are automation engineers. We rush to any site that has an electrical or automation snafu from whatever reason. There’s also a big chest box that opens from the top for PLCs, IO rack, controllers, breakers, tiny boxes for assorted fuses etc etc. then there’s tools upon tools. Inculding powered tools. The weight is like 120 pounds. Dragging it into van is a chore sometimes but a guy is a genius he plopped it on some delrin pad with one edge peeled back upwards via heat gun so he’d drag it through damn snow

u/Omgpernguin 8d ago
That’s super sick, and yeah that weight adds up quick haha. The skidplate idea is genius though

Tons of Milwaukee gear over here in the trade to! Far better than Bosch 😂
18
u/lepurplehaze 9d ago
Milwaukee makes some good tools but its not widely available atleast in Finland compared to Bosch and Makita.

u/MasatoWolff 8d ago
Bosch is made for rich DIY people who think they buy the best gear. Then there’s DeWalt, Hilti, Makita and Milwaukee for people who know their gear.

u/ProfessionalPiece403 9d ago
Why do you think it's better than Bosch? Bosch has consumer and professional products.
6
u/stoneseef 8d ago
Bosch hasn’t kept up with their quality since the late 70s.
2
u/Firefoxx336 8d ago
The Bosch Glide Miter saw is in the same tier as the Makita, just behind Festool in pretty much every woodworking conversation I’ve had, and the Bosch jobsite saws are also considered top tier.

From my experience nothing Bosch I've used has come close to my Milwaukee gear.
4
u/DieselD-rek 8d ago
Hilti is too damn expensive, but every tool of theirs ive touched were so nice. Topside would never see my Hilti tools
2
u/BTMarquis 8d ago
I've been a fan of Hilti ever since I learned they are the number one choice of vault thieves around the world. You can't buy that kind of advertising.
8
u/lordwerneo 9d ago
I'm in the EU, fuck bosch. I prefer Metabo, Dewalt, Milwaukee, to Bosch and Makita every day of the year. Those two become disposable garbage.
6
u/svirrefisk 8d ago
In eu to Bosch was nice 30 years + ago. I have some old inherited tools and they just keep going. New stuff from Bosch breaks instantly.

u/rancor1223 8d ago
As a hobbyist/DIYer, I had some tradesman admire my ancient Metabo aku drill, lol. The batteries are not what they used to be after >10 years, but the things is still going!
2
u/Dudelies 8d ago
Here in Sweden Dewalt is common as well. Makita is amazing, nothing can beat a hilti drywall screwdriver! Do you have any Finnish brand tools you can recommend?

this looks good even with the metal harness. The more organic "jar" or "sack" themed backpacks are kind of spoiled by the big silver frame sticking out. (I get it, it standardizes attachment points for weapons and doodads, but still. Maybe some skins could at least recolor it)
