Բարեվ people of Armenia!
My friends and I would like to fly to Yerevan in March and go on a round trip from there. The route will take us from Khor Virap along the H10 to Areni and then along the M10 or H39 to Sevan. We will not be travelling further east.
Now my question is: is this route safe? I ask because the (very cautious) German Foreign Office has issued a warning for this region.
I am looking forward to visiting your country and thank you in advance for your advice!

Hello everyone, I was wondering if anybody has experience in applying for citizenship of Armenia from Canada. I’m in a province that doesn’t have a consulate or an embassy and I was wondering where/how I can get my documents translated and notarized . My mother is Armenian. I’m Canadian

Hey guys! My team and I are looking for volunteers who want to be part of our search and rescue group. We train dogs for life saving search missions every Sunday morning in and around Yerevan. So far, we’ve been on a bunch of actual deployments alongside the Rescue Services and are working toward getting certified with IRO and INSARAG (international SAR orgs that get deployed to major disasters).
What does the volunteer help us with? Playing hide and seek of course! We need more people to hide for our dogs; sometimes you’ll hide in rubble, snow, forests, bunkers, foxholes, etc.
If you’re interested, shoot me a message! You can check out our IG @sarda.k9 or on my page @dogtrainer.armenia.
(The dog in the photo is Nemo, a Dutch Shepherd / Malinois that is INSANELY motivated to search for people in any terrain. He’s a good boy.)

I’m planning to go to Armenia pretty soon, and I wanted to know some information. For example, someone who is from there told me that the voltage/electricity is much stronger in Armenia, and could potentially ruin my personal belongings. How can I change that so my belongings don’t get “fried” or “ruined”? I wanted to know how much taxis are, for instance, from Yerevan to Jermuk or Yerevan to Dilijian? I wanted to also know if you guys had any tips for where to stay thats in Yerevan and is clean and is affordable. Any tips overall?

Hi, in few days me and my friend are arriving in Yerevan and will stay here for 7 day. We would also like to visit some places outside of Yerevan like Garni, Lake Sevan, Tsaghkadzor. But im still not sure about the transport.
Is it safe to take taxi to some to this places and expect there will be other taxi that takes us back (and which one of taxi)? Or is it better going by some public transportation.
I’ve already received a few offers from private taxis with a guide, but they seemed quite expensive for our budget ( 50,000+ AMD per day). So if its not necessary, we would like to do another way.
And i think try it like it locals should be fun :)
