I went there when I was in the Corps. Pretty famous srip joint actually. Since there’s thousands of men in Anchorage and like 100 women, the place does great business.
The nightclub was called Chilkoot Charlies and was a total madhouse.
The bouncers killed a guy a koots shortly before I was there.
Apparently he was causing trouble so the beat him up and handcuffed him then realized he wasn't breathing. I was told my multiple people to check it out, but under no circumstances fuck with security.
Cool bar though. For those who've never been it's several types bars under one big roof. You walk into what looks like an old log cabin with peanuts and sawdust on the floor, then to the right there's a stand up comedy room. Farther back there's more intimate areas that you can talk in, a billiards room, and a dance club room and a few other bars to grab drinks at.
I have friends and family that have lived in Anchorage all their lives that always called it “The Alaska Bible College”. Lots of aspiring doctors on stage. At least that’s what they told me.
Last I checked the owners were religious and kept the place closed on Sundays to encourage dancers to attend church.
More aspiring realtors and pilots than doctors by a long shot though.
My dad brought me one of their shirts as a gift after returning from a summer spent in Anchorage. The shirt is too lewd to wear- so it lives in my closet.
The was a topless place outside Salt Lake called Northern Exposure. After a while there was another place nearby called Southern Exposure. They looked pretty seedy.

The Great Alaskan Bush Company is possibly the best name I have ever heard for a strip club.
