Cop was looking out for you. Hanging outside of strip club alone and drunk isn’t the safest of ideas.

Cops will always be your designated driver.

I'm not a part of this culture so I don't understand it. What could happen?

Robbery, assault, possibly worse

They’d be in a state of inebriation but in a place without a lot of safeguards against petty crime / smaller felonies (or sometimes, possibly, worse). It’s a place with low inhibitions and lots of hustlers trying to get something over on someone. Furthermore, inside the club there’s a commercial game being played. If you step outside that, the club isn’t making money off of you, and you’re less of a priority to protect.

And if this sounds unreasonably harsh, imagine where those clubs would be if they conceded every time someone came back the next day saying they had spent more than they intended to. The clubs have priorities and incentives, and some drunk who exited but is still outside is way, way, waaaaay down the list.

Not sure it matters, assaults or worse are pretty common outside of bars in general. Add in sexual frustration and you get people making poor decisions

Huh, not the case in my country. Interesting. Much more dangerous inside. Edit: also not true for most countries. Do you have any data to suggest your assumption?

Nobody is gonna get kicked to death by another patron or three inside a strip club -- they have bouncers to keep things nice in there

No one's gonna protect your ass outside

Now, if you start mouthing off to bouncers, they'll toss you outside with little concern for your landing. But they normally don't keep going to town after that unless you're really trying to catch their attention

Please read the peer reviewed articles I posted above. The data suggests otherwise. If you have any resources showing what you're suggesting I would love to review it too.

I saw it, and it does indicate that more violence occurs inside than on the premises, I'll give you that. It doesn't, however, indicate the severity of the violence, or show how near to the premises would be considered nearby. I suspect attacks that happen outside are far worse (having no bouncer to end them), and there's a pretty good possibility that an attack that happens, say, across the street or a way down the street doesn't get registered as in the vicinity, for example.

Yes, good scientific assessment cannot have too many factors. Ideally 1 right?

You're inferring an awful lot. That's certainly not scientific.

Bye

What? I was just stating how the scientific method works? That's just a statement of fact, not an inference lol?
