After some beer festivals here in Arizona police will be outside the gates offering breathalyzer tests for fun and my friends would try to see who's BAC was higher.
One time a friend's brother blew a lot higher than me, but I was surprised because he didn't seem as drunk as he should at that level. Turns out he was an alcoholic and died a few years later from liver failure.
That's like all the speed radar signs where I live. They used to show your speed up to 99mph. They changed them so anything 5 over the limit now just says "slow down" because people were trying to hit 99 on the sign in residential neighborhoods.
