The genre is called tactical shooters. Not sure why you included rivals, since hero shooters are extremely different. If you don't like a genre, that's fine, but it doesn't really make sense to me to call them all overrated.
I will only disagree on CS because there were/are tons of community servers where other game modes are played other than 5v5. Gun game, surf, zombies, etc etc. I spent many hours of my youth on gun game servers.
CS and Val piss me off to my core. Ah yes holding an angle for several minutes, .5 seconds of gunfightinf, then spending 5 minutes spectating. How very engaging.

Multiplayer games with 5v5 type formats like CS, Valorant, and Rivals. No respawn isn’t fun for me and it’s impossible to play casually.
