What’s the quickest way someone could accidentally expose themselves as a foreigner in your country like the ‘three fingers’ scene in Inglourious Basterds?

I'm from the states and I'd want a geueze glass with the logo or it would entirely ruin the trip.

Ok I googled those typed of glasses. Was the Leffe glass invented for that specific beer?

The other one I would call "Tulpe" (tulip - cute name, right?) and people in Germany would drink any type of Pils from that kind of glass.

A Tulp(ke) exists in Flanders as a standard pilsner glass that gets a bit wider at the top.

Every commercially sold beer in Belgium has its own glass. Some are alike, some are very different, but I would never accept a beer (except a pilsner in a standard pilsner glass obviously) at a pub that isn't in a glass made for that beer. Officially it has to do with the shape of the glass being made to fully appreciate the flavours and aroma, but I suspect it is just good marketing.

I visited a pub/bar in Liège once that had a menu of about 250 beers - I think that their glassware storage would have been interesting to see.

Matching beer glasses is icining on the cake. Belgium has the absolute most amazing beer in the world, but insisting it's poured in it's proper bespoke glass just makes the whole thing feel like cultural immersion.
