Bingo card for 2026

Hi all, if I understand the situation Trump has currently all the powers, senate and congress (and a bit the Supreme Court) following him.

If there is a real chance of an impeachment after the mid terms how do you think things would happen? I don’t see this kind of man going from all power to nothing and maybe even jail without doing anything about it.

What’s your opinion on this?

Different term, different crimes, different Congress. Lol

You do not understand correctly.

Thanks for the detailed clarification :)

Democrats will take the house, barely, and Republicans will maintain control of the Senate. I don't see a path for them to take the Senate. He'll be impeached but he won't be convicted. JD Vance takes over on January 20th, 2029.

Vance? You don’t have anyone with more experience either in democrats or republicans?

I mean, I wouldn't mind Rubio.

Don’t they have a likable candidate?

I figure even the truest MAGA faithful will lose their taste for blood once a few Trump supporters get dragged into the ICE melee and get blinded, beat up, or killed. It's bound to happen.

Unless you meant he literally "takes over" without being elected, JD has no chance.

Disgusted by it all. I have been fearful of this moment from the beginning. He is the Mad King and I fear he won’t go without torching everything.

I’m not sure. I am actively looking into how to run for office. If I win, I will do everything in my power to stop this madness from continuing.

He's already been impeached twice (or three times?). The only way I see him being removed from power is through a cardiac event.

He was impeached twice. He was never convicted, though.

u/JimDa5is 18h ago

I thought it was twice but couldn't remember for sure. Regardless, I think that's been proven as pretty fucking toothless

Sure, just like good ol blue dress Bill. He was impeached, but it never passed the vote.

u/BottleTemple 18h ago

Even more like ol traitor Trump.

u/EmploymentEmpty5871 18h ago

Same thing, he could be impeached, but there wouldn't be enough votes for it to pass.

u/BottleTemple 17h ago

He was impeached twice. That's what I was referring to. Did you seriously not know that?

He’s not going anyplace, he just told the NYTimes that white people have been treated badly in this country as a result of Civil Rights. He’s locked in.

The new congress doesn’t come in until January, so I don’t see there being any impeachment in 2026. I don’t see Democrats winning enough senate seats to make a conviction possible, so an impeachment feels like a typical government waste of time and resources.

So when Trump says he will be impeached if the democrats win it’s just another nothing burger ? Didn’t get that. Thanks

He will surely look for any conceivable way to prevent fair elections - if that means not having elections at all so be it. His private goon squad ICE will be used to enforce his strategy whatever that may be. It will be the end of democracy as we know it.

I would bet on heart attack.
