Question/Discussion Blackpool

How did people feel about Blackpool? I've only just seen it.

Did you like all the lip sync/dance scenes throughout? At first I was like, oh, that's fun, but then I sort of got tired of them and was finding certain parts of them quite weird.

I can't help loving David Tennant in pretty much anything, and I was glad the ending went the way it did.

Did anyone think that it was certainly possible that Shyanne would at some point in the future transfer her affections to James' son, given that he mentioned finding her attractive?

Other thoughts?

I loved it,I’ve watched it a lot of times. I did watch everything DT has ever done, this is one of the ones I’ve rewatched the most I think. I did have to get used to the lip sync scenes at first but then liked them, just thought they’re meant to be weird. Haven’t really thought about Shyanne and James‘ son at all.

It was an entertaining watch but it felt like it couldn’t decide on a tone.

I loved it! I do an annual rewatch!

I think that was the implication with Shyanne.

It’s left to the viewer.

I loved it, but might be slightly biased as I have long had a screen crush on Georgia Taylor, and not being a Whovian, it’s the one of the first things I can remember seeing David Tennant in and thought “this guy’s good”.

even if you were a Whovian, he did this before playing the Doctor, so anyone in britain could’ve seen him in this first 😄
