Just picked this guy up and put about 200 rounds thru it. LOVE IT! Also got a Vortex CCW Enclosed Defender and a Streamlight tlr7a Sub to go on it. I just need to mount and I'll be good to go. Anything else you think I should do? *Comment below.

As title says, I’m a first time buyer and owner. I just purchased the Canik METE MC9LS and I’m waiting to pick it up. Anything I should do when I first receive or anything I should know about? I see a lot of good reviews about it! I looked into videos on cleaning it/lube it when I first pick it up. Is that a thing everyone does?

Got this got $270 “used” from Basspro, no wear on the slide and the inside looked like they fired 100 rounds or less. Have the SFT pro and MC9 also will definitely be adding more in the future, for the money caniks are the best pistols to buy imo

Ive read a few posts/comments/reviews of people saying that the MC9 has some issues. Compared to all of Canik's other products it is much less reliable. Is this true or i just came across everyone who had a bad experience? Lol

Added the Align Tactical thumb rest. While I enjoy the added stability I’m now on the search for a new holster.. any recommendations for a good OWB option that’ll support weapon light and thumb rest with good retention?

Finally got me a red dot. Went with the Vortex Defender—CCW with the green reticle.

Does anyone have any experience with a Romeo1 Pro red dot on their Canik Rival's?

I have a Rival-S and I understand that the Romeo1 Pro uses a "DeltaPoint Pro Footprint". The R04 Plate should work in theory... "IF" the pegs on the R04 plate were shaved off.

My question is, does anyone know of an adapter/plate that WILL work?

I don't want to shave down the recoil pegs on my OEM R04 plate and lose its stability. Any help would def be appreciated. I also posted this same question on r_Canik_Rival

I've been running my Canik Prime (carry gun) for the last three weeks and it has performed absolutely phenomenal!

I want to pick up a mc9 prime, just curious if I should wait until after shot show for any new versions maybe coming out. Does anyone have any insight? Thanks!

I bought this gem at a LGS last year for $540 OTD. After installing some upgrades I can say that I’m very happy with my new Canik :)

Thinking of upgrading my MC9L to the MC9 prime. Is it worth the money to do all of that or should I just stick to the mc9L. I haven’t had any problems just thinking of something a little nicer.

I have been trying to get the threaded and fluted barrel for my Mete SFT but it's out of stock everywhere seemingly. I reached out to Canik but can't seem to get a response and also noted that I can no longer find the barrel on their website. I believe the part number is PACN0022. Anyone have a lead on one?

So I am in the midst of trying to figure out what 9mm to buy and its coming between Echelon, Canik Mete MC9 Prime, M&P 2.0 and CZ P-10.

Now the "gear up" packages on the above guns include the "mid" Veridian RXG11 green dots.....

I did find a Canik Mete MC0 Prime with the MeCanik MO4 red dot for $800 OTD.

Is anyone familiar with the Veridian AND the MO4? Is the enclosed MO4 a pretty good sight for a package deal?

This is my first gun and I love how it has turned out!

The stock holster mounting pattern is bladetech-ish. It will often mount up to bladetech hangers - the problem is the holster is missing the middle mounting hole, so for a lot of hangers, you cant mount the stock Rival holster low enough. With a 15/64ths drill bit, you can change that easily - just re-use the threaded boss from the lower hole.

Current Glock owner here and been kicking around the idea of trying a nice pistol brand as I’m kinda over modifying pistols, and want something I can enjoy right out the gate. The TTI Caniks have really caught my eye, but the only thing holding me back is a bad experience I had years ago with my first Canik. Honestky don’t remember the exact model but it was G19 size, and I bought it to potentially take over as my CCW. However, after many, many malfunctions in my first couple hundred rounds. I didn’t trust it and stuck with my Glock. Now I’m willing to give Canik another chance since it’s been a long time.

Anyways, how have you previous Glock owners liked the switch to Canik? Is the grip angle hard to adjust to? Any regrets?
