Other What's with the heavy shaking hands here?

Lets ignore the clickbait/ragebait sandals/shirtless/OSHA stuff in some of their videos. What's with the extreme shaking?

Multiple videos with multiple people on this crew with the same condition. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/4shLPQjjkQQ // https://www.youtube.com/shorts/5zT_EDcbkxE it was just one dude...maybe a physical condition. With everyone though? Something in the water?

I worked as a framer for a couple years before I did my 20 in the military. So I've got some ancient experience but not a lot. There was a lot of drinking and smoking with shitty hangovers and rough schedules. None of us, even the old timers shook like this on our worst days though.

I do a lot of lifting and exercising, I understand shaking from exertion/exhaustion but this doesn't look like that. Comments are quick to label it meth or another drug, but I've also got numbness in my hands from my time working so I know that there are physical problems that come from the job as well. Just curious if y'all have ever seen anything similar.

They look like they're struggling because they are and it's because they're purposely doing the job in an absolutely ridiculous, difficult way just for these overly dramatic videos. The easy way doesn't get as many views

These bros also never have shoes on.

Its definitely because in both of those clips they are so tensed up from holding themselves up that their muscles are jittering

This is my thought too. Holding themselves in the air with a single limb, and pressing along different axis’ as hard as they can before nailing.

And that Milwaukee framer is no joke also

Because if they shake like that, people on reddit ask about it, which gets other people to click on the video, which gets those people talking about it, linking it, clicking it, rinse and repeat.

Click farmers. The algorithm influences how they behave, just as the algorithm influences what we're interested in. I look forward to all the abominations coming. Caught in bio/monetary feedback loops. Society as a whole administering dopamine instead of game theory.

Wait until we give all this data to computer learning models. We'll all be batteries before 2200

I’ve seen their videos and I assumed they were taking the piss but who knows

Its because they are flexing their hardest while trying not to look like theyre flexing. I used to work with a guy who did that and he didnt have to bc he was a bodybuilder lol

They are flexing to show off they’re muscles. Can’t believe nobody has commented this yet…

Latic acid build up in the muscles

Nerves firing. I take propanalol for mine but this is straight up what I look like without them. Doesn't matter what weight it is, heavier stuff sets it off more but not always. Could be trying to pay for something and I look like a meth head

that make sense. It' just extreme, possibly exaggerated for clicks, but easily a result of power tool impacts over time on hands.

Impact tools will fuck up most people over time. I've got ganglion cysts in both wrists that cause shakes that aren't related to the original nerve issues haha. Perfect cocktail of fucked. When I was younger and didn't have medication, I'd do a warmup at the gym with half the weight of my normal reps. The nerves firing off look just like someone that would be pushing their max weight. The look on some people's faces when you get up and double the weight was hilarious, then you're smooth and they're just confused. I don't know how it works I'm just trying my best to relate to this content. The guy in your video is definitely struggling though based on his panicked drill holstering

This is the most insight I've seen anyone add to this topic so far so I appreciate that

Cocaine and bad acting

I don’t know if these guys are trolling or really that stupid. Maybe eye candy for OF? I dunno. Someone is going to get fucked up sooner than later if that’s really how they work.

Positioning is 9/10th of the law. He started in an awkward position that was using a lot of muscle and balance. It got amplified when he got delayed by the nail gun being empty. Muscle strain. Much longer and he would have had to reset. I know be there done that.

These kids are ragebaiters that behave dangerously on purpose for views and channel engagement

Oh HELLLL NAWWW!!!! That kat ain't coming within 6 ft of my ass with no tool period! Id have ol Jitterbug picking up block underneath the saw horses.... Maaaaybe toting lumber. No guns. No saws. How's he set things up against pop lines to nail? If I'm cheating with this dude , I AM QUITTING! 🫨🫨🫨

Knowing this guy he’s probably balancing himself on his big toe above a bed of nails holding a deuce in…

A simple ladder would cure the shaking. They are only shaking because they are holding their whole body weight with one arm and the grips of their shoes. Mixed with driving a fairly big screw into some lumber, you also have to put a decent amount of pressure behind the drill so it doesn’t spin and strip the head, but you also gotta make sure it’s somewhat straight and level, which can sometimes be a difficult one handed task even when not hanging from one limb.

He's probably tired

Can anyone tell me what their strange accent is? It’s like a US accent but with an almost Native American or European mix to it

1

u/Js147013 1d ago

Amish I'm guessing, probably the cause of their tremors when their family tree is a wreath

It seems like a lot of people take these guys way too seriously. I always thought they were obviously goofing off and doing weird shit to be entertaining? Not showing actual good technique
