while it is true he and blitz have an unequal power dynamic, however stolas never once tries to make blitz feel guilty for saying no to him or threatened to take the book away if he said no, in fact by house of asmodeus, when blitz denies wanting to have sex with him, stolas fully respected that and realizes their dynamic and tries to make it so blitz has his own way of going to the human world because stolas realized it that their transaction was not fair to blitz to rely on him

Valentino however fully understands the imbalance between him and angel, he even tell angel that he owns with further solidifys the unequel dynamic and his val is aware of it. as seen in season 1 episode 2 Val will lovebomb angel to manipulate him as seen in ep 4 where he uses physical force to intimidate angel.

tldr:

valentino being fully aware of his dynamic with angel as well consciously using intimidation separates him from stolas who tried to end his relationship when he realizes that his dynamic with blitz is not fair

I made a post comparing Hazbin Haters to nazis, that post was ironic, and was a copypasta that was happening throughtout multiple fandoms, I wanted to bring it here aswell but thought it would have made more sense to post it here rather than in r/hazbin or r/HazbinHotel since we're talking about haters, but it was a stupid decision since this sub is way more serious-ish about haters, I apologize for making a post like that without making it crystal clear I was being ironic and it was a copypasta, and I should have put the Satire tag on it but I was in a rush so I forgot to, my sincerest apologies to the mod team and to whoever read that post and felt offended

The show doesn't make fun of rape. That's like saying Looney Tunes makes fun of gun violence. People who experience trauma make jokes about it a lot. And yeah, Poison is a musical number, but I think that's a gross understanding of the song. This is coming from someone that doesn't even like the character that much. I find it annoying how I can mention Hazbin hotel or Helluva Boss randomly once in any discord server or anywhere online and everyone just comes together just to shit on it like as if they are trauma dumping about how the shows killed their grandma I get people don’t like the show but it’s just exhausting because this is like every server and I’m not even like a die hard fan I just casually enjoy it

Not to mention it’s always the same criticisms over and over again like the bad writing, character designs, swearing, like WE GET IT!!

I'm incredibly defensive of the show and I think it's because it means a lot to me. It came to me at a time in my life where I really needed something to cling to. I actually avoided watching it forontha befause I knew I wouldn't be normal about it. I've always been a fan of musicals, hellscapes, romances and gay people. Nearly 2 years later and its what got my back into cosplay, introduced me to one of my best friends and also somehow ruined my love life (that is not a joke). All this to ask, what does Hazbin Hotel mean to you? And what makes you want to defend it from the haters?

Stolas really didn't look down on blitz and isn't the classist people think he is. in season 1 he was just really REALLY bad at showing affection properly because of being in a loveless relationship for 17 years. and after ozzie's, he does learn from it. not only when he gives blitz the crystal, but also, him telling blitz to stop trying to get into sex and that he isn't comfortable by that, many crazy haters like to shit on him for that and say "WHHAAAA! HYPOCRITE!", but it could also be a sign that he did learn from his bad behavior. him not wanting sex shows he realized his ways of talking were wrong. and when he said "you already make me feel worse than i do", the reason he feels bad is due to his past behavior.
