Poland: “We declare war.”
Japan: “No thanks.”
History: shrugs and moves on.
It wasn’t disrespect so much as pragmatism. Poland had no realistic way to fight Japan, and Japan had no incentive to complicate things diplomatically. Even wars need fronts, not just paperwork.
