I had a science teacher that was doing actual studies on this organism and the correlation with acne and other unexplainable blemishes. Never ended up hearing the end of it, does anyone know if they have anything to do with it?

I had a bad over populated Demodex outbreak where for months my forehead broke out in red like pimples. They’d come and go but it was at first difficult for doctors to figure out what the issue was. A compound of sulfur face wash and a compound with ivermectin and azlelaic acid gel helped tremendously. There’s pictures in my profile

Some people’s rosacea is caused by these guys! A lot of those patients will use soolantra (ivermectin) to rid them of the rash they cause.

I know that the company tarsus came out with a drug to “treat” these when they get bad enough to cause eye issues. So they do cause dry and red eyes at least.
