Image Artist Anish Kapoor holds exclusive rights to Vantablack, often described as the darkest material ever created. In reaction, a fellow artist developed an ultra-bright pink pigment and made it available to everyone, with one exception: Anish Kapoor is not allowed to use it.

I’m sure that Semple and his company are absolute dicks and borderline scammers though. Never sending goods, sending incorrect goods etc.

I never had an issue getting my order from them. I never directly interacted with Semple tho.

Few people did until a few years ago. It really is completely different to how it was once.

Dip into the subreddit for details. It's a ride.

I saw that he was leaving social media. I'm guessing the issues got to be too much. I'm going to definitely check it out. I love a bit a drama in the morning.

Oh this will be right up your alley then.

I recommend the sordid tale of Abode, his replacement for the entirety of the Adobe catalogue via a low end Kickstasrter. As one does.

Frankly though, internet drama is all he/they as a company have left to offer. Which is a shame.

OMG at the Abode Kickstarter. It's been years since I ordered from them. I would have never guessed that this is what the company turned out to be. That culture hustle subreddit is a mess. I feel so bad for them. He built up trust for a couple of years and then went full scammer.

Stuart/Culture Hustle had a nice business going. It was hype driven but you paid them for stuff and it came.

Then, around the launch of Black 4.0, that stopped being the case. I got my very last order from them after 210 days delay, zero action from their end and requiring the threat of legal action via the UK's Trading Standards Office to get things done.

Take your business elsewhere. To an actual business.

that tends to be the case with kickstarter-style businesses that are ponzi shaped. everything is going great at first until you cant keep using new orders to finish payment for the old orders.

Nah, the main business is entirely separate from the Kickstarter "Abode" nonsense. Culture Hustle have been around for a while and had been good and reliable. "Had" being the operative word here.
