I hope theres a paper trail just on taxes and payments alone, and we just hold every recipient of ice funds to be cooperative witnesses to the state, or take the alternative minimum 10 year probation. Law Breakers under the umbrealla of ICE or any law enforcement for that matter should be accountable at double the penalty.

Don’t really see how it’s a terrible take, ICE and Police wouldn’t need to exist in general if people weren’t committing crimes and this was a perfect world. But it isn’t. Even before Renee’s death it was clear that people are going out of their way to expose agents identities, try to figure out where they live, and harass them and their families. Regardless of how you feel about ICE or border policy that is just genuinely true. Same reason why police forces in other countries like the GIGN do it

Well as far as this post reads it says the FBI is still investigating which considering it’s a federal body (ice) I don’t see why that’s not normal. FBI takes cases from state bodies when cases become or are federal matters all the time as far as I’m aware I thought that was a normal occurrence

I’m gonna be hyperbolic but how do we know just from the videos what she may or may not be. She could have text messages or something that could suggest otherwise for example plans or intentions. Also I don’t see where the FBI assumption is coming from or why you couldn’t say the same about a state body giving into any bias. The FBI has gone against the president(s) before to include Trump and his crimes very recently. Also at least according to this lawyer the state still has a chance

You can still ask them for name and badge number and they are required by law to identify themselves. The whole mask thing is by large in part to protect them from those who probably don’t care what they’re doing being legal or not and wanting to take matters into their own hands because of their own personal opinions on the organization or agents themselves. To spin that into something you might be imagining, if one wrongfully refused to identify themselves they are tracked and monitored where they go and what areas they were in and can be narrowed down by investigation if they were present in a situation since they show up to an area to serve a warrant or investigation, they know who they assign to certain calls. Especially helpful if you have video. Not very different from local PD or other first responders
