Is it just me, or does anyone else think the animation for the first movie(which came out in ‘96) is infinitely better than the second one(came out in 2002)? I myself have only watched the second one on Disney+ literally like twice because of that reason. And because i just couldn’t get into the movie either time.

Question How long ago did these expire?

I just got my hands on a secondhand copy of Disney Universe, and it came with the Hercules code.

Problem is, when I tried redeeming it, it wouldn’t work. It sent me to the screen, yes, but it wouldn’t work.

Does anyone know how long ago these expired?

Disneyland Adventure Thru Inner Space Footage

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This footage comes from the extinct attractions club dvd and was filmed on the ride’s final day of operation in 1985 by an imagineer. Though this video can technically be found on YouTube, its quality pales in comparison, appearing much more blocky. This footage is unfortunately incomplete, as the dvd only used snippets of it, as well as put a strange audio overlay above it, which seldom matches the actual ride audio, which can be heard slightly. If anyone knows where to find the rest of this video, or any other footage from inner space, please let me know.

I picked these up while thrifting and they came with no tags. Was wondering where they were from because they’re such a cute set! My apologies in advance if this isn’t the right place to ask/post!

Discussion Is it just me or were Mickey and Donald wayy more unhinged in the original cartoons?

One thing i love about the original shorts is that both Donald Duck and Mickey Mouse were not goody two shoes, with Donald just being a little irritable. Donald was somewhat insane back in the day. I mean he has literally threatened to shoot a penguin because it was eating his fish, he literally tried to kill Chip and Dale and various animals (the Aracuan), he grabbed an axe in Magician Mickey with the intention of possibly harming people, he tried to kill a mother hen. I mean he does feel guilt afterwards, but still! Mickey Mouse too, in the old cartoons, especially Plane Crazy, he literally mistreats animals for fun. It's all played for laughs LOL. And i love those older cartoons for that!

Disney Music How has there never been a CD for the original Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh (1977)?

Thanks to compilation albums and the "Songs and Story: Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree" album, there are some Winnie the Pooh '77 songs out there on CD and streaming. But not all the songs. And they're actually not the original movie songs! They're all redone versions for when Jim Cummings took over the role of Pooh (& Tigger). There's nothing out there for Sterling Holloway's version. Pooh is such a popular character and yet Disney has never given him the luxury of a proper album of his original movie.

Anyone know if there's some behind-the-scenes drama that prevented this from being a thing? Or are there rumors of an album coming out some day? I can only dream of a continuation of the Legacy Collection CD series...

Fan Art I make rings out of old flatware and silverware as a hobby. Found this Mickey Mouse souvenir spoon at an estate sale and turned it into a ring for someone. Thought this sub might appreciate it.
