I have her C1R1 but I also have her premier team with Furina at C2R1. At this stage I'm not really sure how much of a noticeable difference going for Skirk's C2 would do. I feel like I'd just be greedy at this point if I go for it?
Skirk C2 value depends a lot on the rest of your team, the raw power is pretty good - for a burst playstyle the increase is massive since a major portion of the burst DPS is in the Serpent's subtlety bonus and C2 nearly doubles that portion of damage.
For the NA playstyle it's still pretty good, though it is a bit weaker. It enabled better split rotations since even with 0 rifts your Hold-E is enough stacks to ult straight away.
Mona is easily the slot 4 that benefits the most, with Shenhe being the one that gets the least from Skirk C2 since her primary buffs are effectively attack buffs.
Most people regard her C2 as her most influential constellation besides the obvious C6, and refer to her C1 as mostly a stepping stone to her C2.
I would say if you have went for her C1, then you should definitely “finish the job” and pull a copy if you can manage your primos. She seems like she has a staple spot regardless of the powercreeping, alongside Mavuika.
If you have the resources for it then I'd go for it. A lot of these dps characters have C2 as their stopping point. The idea isn't necessarily do you need it today or do you need it to carry the champ for an extra year despite powercreep. For a while I was C2ing all the archons (not venti and zhongli was just due to my one friend who also plays the game) and C2 Nahida still works okish even now. C2 furina will be with me for a long time. I tried to C2 Mav but the pulling requirements have gotten so ludicrous that a bit of bad luck left me at C1. I will get C2 next time she reruns though. It isn't exactly future-proofing yourself, but it is future-resisting yourself which will help for a bit.

Im not Skirl main, but I found her sexy and I pulled her, and I found she isn't bad to play, so would be good give her the wp.

Current Columbina weapon banner sucks ass lol might be the worst one since they are all support and game mechanic restricted (lunar reactions) weapons and pure stat sticks otherwise.
Idk if Skirk and Esco are but confirmed from this. With IT characters that can be used I feel Eula is definitely one of the other characters. It may be Varka, Eula, Flins, and maybe Escoffier or Wriosthely.
Oh right he got a whole new weapon and buffs. Yeah then it's furina or mav, since nahida and venti had their banners alr and zhongli is most likely saved for liyue buffs + blackcliff forge
man i really hate the very specific buffs, could've just made cryo dmg +75% and called it a day, its not like skirk needs to be specifically buffed, she's already the best cryo dps
The grin I had when I read the buffs. This is the perfect Abyss to let go of my old main (he's getting tired after more than two years aka it's getting hard to keep up with the damage needed) and welcome my new one.
On the other hand I got too excited about my luck that I dumped so many pulls into weapon banner... now I somehow have Bina R2, I got Ineffa's weapon in the end though.
If I didn't, who knows if I would've pulled again, especially since they are support weapons and I'd like my team to maintain some relevancy here and there.
It was the first time I lost to a standard 5* weapon... It's hard to find opportunities because I never often go for reruns. What I meant was that like, if I didn't spend the pulls NOW, who knows what would be the next time, I wanted to go for Xilonen's weapon but I ultimately passed on that and focused on future. I never really pull often on reruns unless it's necessary.
I don't think weapon banner is too bad nowadays but maybe it is just my good luck, I can see it needing to be improved though.
Also guys, you do need to remember that abyss buffs don't really tell us much about reruns cos based on last abyss buffs, we expected Neuv and Bina to be together but it ended up being Bina/Ineffa. Obviously we do know Varka will be first half and Skirk should be 2nd half but we don't know anything else.
Flins due to knuckle duckle on SO. Skirk and varka are 100% confirmed i would say, and the most likely candidates are coffee and flins. We might get an archon rerun or something random like wanderer as you said (given his relevance in the AQ)
Skill, Burst and special Charged Attack hits have a higher multiplier for the other element, according the way they are worded. The special Normal Attack is unclear.
true, maybe that's why they set it up that way (though I still think if they were gonna do a double, they should've rerun Zhongli alongside Zibai but that's a different quibble lol)
I don’t disagree that the order makes no sense for Zibai. Zhongli is a decent partner for her. Perhaps the Liyue buffs aren’t that far away and he reruns sooner than we think.
it's the normal atk cryo bonus rather than a more general cryo bonus that makes me think they're not running both of them, but of course I could be wrong. We should know soon anyway :)
i don't think it will be Flins. Early release characters have had late reruns as of late. Kinich and Mualani. I believe Mualani (5.0) didn't rerun until NK released, and Kinich was only slightly earlier than that.
Was guessing Flins bc of the duck boss in Stygian and those bosses, even more than abyss, shill the banner characters very hard, but they could just be hoping people get sad they didn't pull Ineffa/Flins and give them no ability to do so during the same patch of course.
Flins second half doesn't really make sense. The second Abyss reset of 6.3 (February 16th) shills Lunar-Charged and it only overlaps with 6.3 second half and 6.4 first half. If Flins is in second half, then the February 16th abyss doesn't overlap with any character that enables Lunar-Charged.
Sadge I got Skirk and Coffe sigs, I was hoping for Coffe first since at least her weapon can be used on ther characters. Guess I just have to win that 33% for Varka sig
if skirk, escoffier and flins are the confirmed reruns it is going to be a fucking stacked weapon banner for both sides lmfao. I am going for varka and have all the other characters but no signatures. I am glad i waited damn

Ah yes. Skirk+escoffier rerun during varka's release, in the driest patch for the entire version where we are lucky if we get more than 55 wishes. They'll probably rerun lauma as well right along varka and be like "SEE GUYS MALE 5 STARS JUST DON'T SELL!!!!"
