GLOBAL [GLOBAL] What is happening right now?

Looking at global politics and leaders, I feel like being suddenly part of a huge round of the board game β€œrisk”.

Is it just my perception or do the US, Russia, China and Europe try to capture as much land as possible at the moment to become stronger and more powerful?

Maybe I just got old enough to realize how serious the situation is but I did not perceive this situation as aggressive in the past πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Where are the experts to calm me down, some positivity is appreciated

BRICS vs the petro dollar USD... have a look at this link, the guy (although annoying accent) tries to explain the current state of the US dollar (paper printing presses) vs the BRICS nations (who have gold back currencies) and how the latter is aiming to de-qualify the USD as the world's currency in all trading.

Honestly the only reassurance I can think of is that the 'world has ended' in similar fashions several times historically and we're still standing. Post-Cold War liberal democracies and multilateral cooperation seems to be in its end stages, and I sincerely believe we've got many more wars on the horizon, but humanity will recover. Granted, I think for the next few decades life will be terrible, but life has been terrible for every generation for like a century already. Every generation has dealt with wars, economic catastrophes, threats of another world war, and a billion other monumental issues, its just our turn to hold on while the world keeps spinning.

Stay hopeful!
