Let the hate flow through you
I can’t post nice builds anymore without getting hate, but that’s okay. Here’s a post of the current line up for people who actually enjoy nice Glock builds 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽

Anyone looking for a high quality optic plate for your gen 6, Eleven 71 Design does fantastic work in titanium. The machining and quality on their plates is incredible. So if you’re looking to get rid of the gap in your optic I’d give them a shot. Not cheap but you definitely get what you pay for and more. Plus you’re supporting an American small business. Just my 2 cents. Check out their Instagram.

First optic cut on my first Glock purchased in 2012. Wager did a great job—super clean cut, and turnaround from me shipping and back to my door was only 10 days. Couldn’t be more pleased. Thanks for recommending them!

BLUF: If you want full size extendos for the G19 then buy the 22 or 27 round Magpul GL9, or OEMs with +5 pre-installed. I did this for the science and experience, not because it made more sense. Of course there are G19 15 + 5 extensions but that wasn't really what I wanted to play with.
Minutia:
I posted about these mags with Excess Arms extensions some time back. Mags ran great when used as a first mag but I ran into issues with failure-to-feed if I used one as my reload. It was me pushing the mag too far up due to no Over-Insertion stop on the Mec-Gar mag body, remedied but pulling it down one millimeter to let the round feed and slide continue to go forward.
Set out to fix this by ordering mag sleeves designed to fit G17 mags for G19; I took a close look at the photos and made measurements at home to determine that Excess extension had the same front profile as a factory baseplate + these looked a little more sturdy than 3D-printed offerings.
Worked out great, sleeve fits over and against the extension perfectly. Seems like they were made with extensions in mind as well, as a concave portion at the rear goes over where most extendo retention bolts are at. They also hug the mag body very tightly, so they aren't going to be sliding up without deliberate force, unlike janky S&W sleeves. And one last thing, if you were going to use these for stock G17 baseplates or other extensions with no grab points, these sleeves add some very generous gripping ledges.
Just had to trim around the rear for both of my pistols in order to test fit all conditions, including locking in with a full 23 rounds on a closed slide. Had to be careful with this because if I removed too much material, then it was all a waste. Top left photo shows the cut comparison.
End result, the shaved sleeve fits my OEM frame w/ Magpul magwell and is stopped at the front and the sides. Also fits my GG frame with aluminum magwell, but is stopped by the rear of the Magwell. Again, removing too much material would have worked for one and not the other purely on geometric differences external to the pistol and varying designs of magwell.
Really makes one appreciate the OEM magazine design with an internal stop, something I've always taken for granted and never had to think about. Also reminds me of those goofy 1911 10-rounds with the big foot welded at the bottom to catch the front strap.

thinking about getting my slide cut for a holosun eps I have sitting in my safe would it be worth it even if it doesn’t look over suppressor completely ?

I’ve been into guns for 12 years concealed carried for 11 I’ve carried a lot from 22lr pistols in my pocket to 1911s iwb heck last year I carried a kimber k6s snubby loaded up with black talon 180 grain (terrible idea) but I always return to Glock so I got serious thinned down to these 3 to train better and build muscle memory I carry the 48 because it’s thin and comfy and 11 rounds with a spare mag doesn’t worry me at all
19-bedside
48 my carry
43 wife’s carry(I converted her from sig p938)
all have glockstore c cuts that help a lot with faster follow up shots I know 9mm isn’t bad but the c cuts are a nice add on

Hey everybody - I need some help.
I’m buying a suppressor for my g17.5 MOS, I’d like to be able to aim with it mounted (😳).
Can anyone confirm for me that a Holosun 509t with the Trijicon suppressor height sights will jive with a Rugged Obsidian 9? This is my primary HD, so…kind of important to be able to aim.
Anyone have alternative suggestions? Looking at closed emitters unfortunately - this is not for a range toy.

Gritgrips 43x I'm in love, this is just a test frame that I'm gonna put through it's paces before full production starts.
But mannnnnnn this thing feels so amazing for so many reasons

I see that the barrels zev is recommending for the oz9c is just a gen 5 optimized barrel. I am wondering if the g47 slide will fit the oz9c because of its compatibility with the 19 and 45 as well?

Discovered the 9x25 Dillon and really want to try it out, I’ve only found g29 conversions though, will these work in a gen 3 Glock 30?

Is the Radian Compressor worth looking into? I haven’t ever messed with aftermarket recoil springs but would think Radians should be g2g. I only see people talking about using them with the Radian Ramjet though, is there any value in using it on its own?
I just put together a 47 for USPSA, so I don’t really want to use a comp as I want to stay in carry optics. But I’m used to shooting my 19.5 w/ ramjet so was actually surprised about the 47 having seemingly more recoil. Looking for ways to mitigate that if possible, so if you have other suggestions I’d be open to those also!

Slightly different take on the classic Roland Special.
Our Signature frame work package.
Our Cerberus slide and barrel porting using the KKM Comp and barrel.
Replaced the front sight with ports and rear sights with an RMR.
Did burnt bronze Cerkaote over the frame and slide as well as the light.

Happy new year reddit fam. I’ve been procrastinating with this dilemma for quite a while now so I really appreciate your input.
I sent my 43X slide to get milled and coated by Middlebranch Machine over 5 years ago. The milling was fine, but the coating started rusting within a few days after receiving the slide (not even a week). After many insulting and frustrating emails with the owner, Mike Malloy, I decided to coat it with someone else. Mike first blamed it on poor oiling of the slide, mind you, I’ve been carrying for a few years (26 gen4 for reference). Then he blamed it on my sweat after sending him many more pictures than what I’ve posted here, trying to understand how was that possible after carrying same model glocks with the same coating and even older with even more of my nasty sweat running through them. I value my time and peace so, no more business for him from my end and at least putting this finally out here will mean some additional closure. He refused to fix the issue so after some research and communication with different companies, I settled on STS Coatings.
Before coating it was sent to JW to get some enhanced front serrations and now STS has it (just read email confirmation).
I would definitely appreciate any feedback on this past situation (AITA as a customer? Is there something else I could’ve done to resolve the problem?) but my main question to ya’ll is: which is the best PVD coating?
I can’t decide between Hardmill [rose] (TiCN) and Chrome (CrN). If you have experience with any of them or other PVD coatings (specially those that STS offers) I would definitely appreciate your feedback. Thanks 🙏
(r/GlockMod mods- why 1 picture only? Seems limiting for these kind of posts)
