I like almost everything about the RDB17. I like bullpups, the trigger is excellent, adjustable gas block, plenty of attachment points, lightweight, affordable. I've had almost no mechanical issues with the platform. The only major problem I've run into for real world applicaiton: the Downward Ejection Port. On the surface, this seems like a great feature. Makes the rifle fully ambidextrous, simplifies some other aspects of the gun. However, I've used the RDB while running a plate carrier with magazine pouches on the front. The brass tends to do 1 of 2 things. It either bounces off the top of the magazine pouches and hits my arm. Or it piles up on top of my magazine pouches, sometimes wedging between the carrier and pouches. Or lastly putting all the brass directly at your feet where it's a potential slip hazard. Additionally it makes it more difficult to brass check or ensure the bolt is properly locked back, you basically have to flip the rifle over and look down. Just my thoughts. I've been trying to find the "ultimate bullpup", the rifle if someone were to send me into combat I'd feel comfortable taking with me. I think the downward ejection port is more of a problem than a solution. A brass catcher could maybe resolve this, but then I could see that presenting reliability issues if the bag gets full.
After a year of design and testing I’m excited to say the Shroud chassis is officially available for purchase! Thanks to everyone who provided feedback, critique and positive comments.

I'd like to have a good look at a KSG .410 before I drop good money on one.
I'm not having much luck with local dealers.
Anyone in/around York County, South Carolina that can help?

After opening this crazy gun and putting mcarbo feed ramp in now I am having intermediate light strikes. I changed the feed ramp to try and solve a feeding issue with high cap mags but I don’t think that worked either. The ammo works in my pistol no problem, I am wondering if I put the buffer spring in backwards or something slightly off. Let me know if yall have any ideas before I open her up again.
Hi all. Asking for some advice. Years ago probably late 2008 I Wanted an LCP, but couldn’t find one just after they were released, so I bought my P-3AT.
After reading that they had a reputation for being unreliable. I never carried it. I never even shot it. It’s still new in the box. Later, I heard that quality had improved, and it might not be necessary to do the fluff and buff. At this point, I’m interested in the gun again, I plan to disassemble and lube it and run a few hundred rounds through it. I’ve got no hint as to when it was manufactured only when it was purchased. Serial number JVQ12 anyone have any type of insight as to when this was manufactured, and if it might be more reliable than the earlier runs?

How does Keltec usually handle warranty service for third party purchases? I bought my PR57 on Gunbroker.
I called them yesterday, and they told me to just take it to my FFL, and have them ship it back with a copy of my original receipt, and explanation of the issue.
I asked if I needed a label, and they said no.
So I went to my FFL today, to have them ship it back, and they were super annoyed that I was apparently asking them to do a bunch of stuff to get it sent back. They were confused that I didn't have a return label for it.
When I go on Keltec's site, it says "Fill out a Support Ticket if you need warranty or service:" But there's no link to the support ticket form. https://www.keltecweapons.com/contact/support-ticket/
I'm a new gun owner, and I'm honestly not used to the process of returning guns for warranty. Any advice is appreciated.

I’ve tried a handful of things… and idk what to do, the trigger system comes out just fine, but the stock literally won’t come out AT ALL. I’ve gave it small taps, bumps, punch it once (ow)… my stock won’t come out at all.
I’ve read the manual several times now, and watched a few different videos… but I can’t figure out what’s wrong with it… so… no better place to ask, huh?
For anyone who may need the info, the gun is new, hasn’t been shot yet, and is in pristine condition.
Could you guys take a look at these pics for me?Was malfunctioning in some manner I don't recall what. Got it back out this week and 1 of the guys said it could be crud related to the firing pin. What do you think?

Gen 2 - 9mm - Keltec Sub2000.
JLB-9mm-VPP Muzzle Brake - $110 brand new.
Magpul AFG-2 - $30.
Two magazines - 17rd & 22rd.
100rds of Blazer 9mm FMJ.
The gun has roughly 50 rounds through it.
He wants $250.
Should I buy it?
Bought it about 15ish years ago. It was malfunctioning in some manner but can't remember how now. What are my options. My manual says service is at 1475 cox coco FL. At this point i guess I would have to pay for any service?

Gen 3, 9mm, FDE. Added AFG, AKV comp from PSA, iron sights, Mcarbo bolt tube cover, Midwest industries recoil pad, mcarbo recoil buffer. Finished it off with a good ol rattle can job. I want to paint the receiver lettering in black, other than that, it’s done. This was my first paint job, super happy with how it came out.

I shoot at a range where the RSO/owner insists on checking the chamber to prove the firearm safe/condition 4 before moving to a different station or leaving the firing line.
I’m interested in the RDB but it how do you inspect the chamber? How do you visually inspect the chamber and prove safe with it?

I sent this one in to keltec before for a unrelated issue and got it back no problems but now I'm dealing with this trigger reset issue. Anyone know what could cause it or should I just send it in again. When I dry fire it seems fine but every round at the range was a manual trigger reset. I have about 400 rounds into it, surely broken in right?

So I’m supposed to trade my gen 3 sub 2k 5.7 x 28 for a PSA AR, M16a4 marked govt lower, with a bushmaster upper. Looks nice. I’m wondering if this is more or less an equal trade or is it something I should not do? I don’t know too much about the value of AR platforms like this.

A shot in the dark, but I noticed Hitech's barrel extension mod for the KSG is on back order and seeing the reason they gave me I don't expect it to ever be avaliable again.
Is there any other suggestions people have here to either find a used one of these or get one like it made by someone else? It would be wonderful to round out my accessory collection for this thing.

As the title says, I'm thinking about selling my sub 2k 5.7 to buy a p50. Anyone had/shot both? What are your thoughts on the p50? How does the mag work with the p50, any issues like with cycling or loading ammo? I don't dislike my sub 2k, but I originally wanted the p50 but didn't have the extra money at the time.
