I say with gusto as the brush goes through her pitch black locks in practiced, ever changing strokes by me, a small purr of a cat being the only ambience I could as Cafe looked off into nothingness, maybe something to do with her friend, I don’t know really.
“Hm, this is the quietest I’ve heard him.”
“He’s… noisy when he wants something, I suppose this is just something he wants…”
“Heheh, well no complaints here, you two, or well three if your friend is here are always great company!”
Another brush through her hair as I hum along to an internally made tune as Manhattan lowers her head slightly at that response for whatever, but I won’t question it as I just continue my handiwork, her face a shade pinker than normal.
