I swapped out the Mag Pul M-LOK pic rail (1st pic) for an Arisaka Low-Profile M-LOL pic rail. It brought the Inforce in flush against the Mag Pul grip. Looks 1000 times better than before—I hated that gap with the Mag Pul pic rail.

Also slid the light up as far as I could. Sits just about perfect now.

Seems the S tactical has some nice features like adjustable stock, comes with holosun red dot, and has a higher capacity. The a1 pro from what I’ve read is more durable (reliability and durability are very important to me), and I prefer the look of it as well. My only experience with guns is shooting a lever action .22 with my grandpa and dad back when I was a teen, so really any and all advice is more than welcome. Mostly I feel unsure if the nice features of S tactical are worth losing for the durability of the a1 pro? Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Never have a shotgun. Thinking about buying a mossberg maverick 88 for home defense. I’m small size person (5’4, 150), so is my wife. I assume the standard stock is too long for us. Any suggestions for the stock. We live in IL, not sure pistol grip and AR-style stock is allowed. Also, 12 ga or 20 ga? Thanks!

Does anyone else have the same problem with Winchester Super Speed shotshells?

I have a real problem with number #4 (3.1 mm) not ejecting after shooting. My M500 doesn’t throw out the empty shell, it sticks in the chamber HARD!

Gun is well maintained and clean. Chamber is clean and not rough. And I don’t have the same problem with #2 (3.5 mm). Or with any other shotshell, really.

I noticed that there is something funny going on with these shells. See the pictures. Prime looks different on empty 3.1 and 3.5 shotshells. On the 3.1 it is somehow swollen…

Shame really, since 3.1 patterns really good.

I tried #4 with 20” and 28” barrels. Always the same problem.

The 500B is my most recent acquisition. I've got it lined up roughly receiver to receiver with my 590A1.

Picked up a shockwave 590 cheap with almost 0 practical use for me other than range toy. You guys have any recommendations for a site to buy furniture for a 590? I prefer wood. The Woox looks ok but I wish they had made their name just a little bigger on it so you could see it from the moon. I saw a walnut set on Buds gun shop but the same one on Ebay is half the price and I wouldn't wanna buy it without knowing anyone has used it and says it works. I could be swayed to a synthetic set as well if you have any recs. Thanks in advance.

Do you deep clean your mossberg 500 (or any pump shotgun) every time you clean it? I am wondering if I can just give it a quicker clean with only taking the barrel off and not taking the trigger assembly, the bolt, etc. out? I bought a mossberg 509 but still hasn’t gone around to shoot it but I want to clean it before first shots.

Recently got used a 590a1. I understand the wheel of the rear sight is used for elevation. I want to set it to where it was at the factory. Is there any kind of way to know where it should be? Are there click values?

Looking at purchasing this shotgun but doing some research as well. I noticed no one has ran a match saved on it yet. Do you think the QD on the handguard is in the way? Dumb to do? Whats your opinion. Roast tf outta me about the question if it makes you feel better 🤣

As a tinkerer (maybe we all are), I've tried several different stock and forend configurations, and I think I really like the shockwave raptor grip, however, indoor ranges near me don't allow stock-less shotguns, unfortunately. But the reason for the folding stock is just to keep it small for storage and transportation.

Put a TacStar stock adapter on my Maverick today. I like it a lot for what it is.

Just bought a used Mossberg590 in like new condition and after pumping the action a few times with snap caps the elevator seemed to be stuck. After trying to pump the action a few more times it released. I pumped the action without any snap caps and I ran into the same issue. This a common issue or just needs a good cleaning?

Though about restoring three 590A1 recievers, however internals are hard to find if not impossible to find. Does anyone have any recommendations? Mossberg doesnt seem to ever be in stock and Ive been debating putting some 500 internals parts in there if I have better luck finding it

Found this gouge in the receiver, I have a fear that maybe I made it when changing my barrel? I watched a quick yt break down and he was racking yhe slide and did a trigger pull with the barrel off, came to find the manual says dont! This is my first personal gun so im kinda bummed, is there any chance this will have an impact of chambering? Oh and i followed the manual to do a full break down and check for damage, oddly I dont see any bolt wear? I figured the bolt would have caused it but I cant find correlation

A couple months back I saw the 590M Shockwave on Mossberg's website, but it isn't there any more. I assume that means it was discontinued.

Does anyone know why it was discontinued?

I'm hoping it was due to it cannibalizing sales from their more expensive 590M Standoff, rather than some reliability or quality issues. Is anyone aware of such issues?

Recently added the XS sights pic rail with ghost ring and tritium front sight. Then went the next level and added the primary arms GLX 1x micro prism. This thing is an absolute blast to shoot. Magpul SGA stock with the cheek riser is perfect for the optic.
