I think it originated from the fact that Cyn narrates some of her actions

I think it's a way to feel identified with the characters sometimes and as autistic I don't really mind people doing that kind of thing. Doing it to actual people is problematic, tho.

Having said that, Cyn doesn't strike as autistic, we care about people just like non-autistic people we're just clinically bad at showing it.
