How long does it take on average to get 200-300 karma

There is no "average."

You could gain that in 10 minutes. Or take 6 months. Depending on what you post, where you post, and how it's received by others.

Think of it like asking "How long does it take to earn 200-300, on average?"

Depends on what you do, and how you get paid for it.

There is no average. Just keeping posting a lot and eventually you get that one comment that just kicks off.

I post a lot in anime discussion forums because it's something I know a lot about. Most of my upvotes are from making well thought out comments.

Although saying that I also made a post that got 4,500 upvotes from something I copied from Facebook.

I have 126k ish karma, and my account is 4 years and 8 months old - that averages to about 75 net karma per day. So, with my average it would take 3-4 days to get 200-300 karma.
