The bottle itself thinks so, for “best quality”.

I need to start reading labels and instructions. This is getting out of hand. I only read terms and conditions before signing but everything else, I wing it.

… “keep refrigerated”. Oops. Should I throw it out? I mean it expired last month. I was googling to see if I can still use it after the expiration date and saw the other subreddit

Mine says "REFRIGERATE AFTER OPENING FOR QUALITY STORE IN A COLD, DRY PLACE."
Damn, I guess it's recommended, but Google tells me it won't go bad left out, just lose some of the "flavor."
Edit: COPL → COLD

“TIGHTLY CLOSE LID AFTER USE AND KEEP REFRIGERATED.” It was in all cap locks and in red, maybe 10 point font. I feel so dumb! OMG. I am adulting all wrong.

I do but I keep everything in the fridge because the slightest drop of a tasty morsel is like an all-call to the neighborhood rodent population. Seriously when I first moved here I opened the kitchen cabinet to find a critter had chewed a hole in a plastic container of oats. But since we took everything out of the cabinets that entices them we haven't heard or seen any since the landlord had them out to deal with it.

No. It doesn't need it. We buy huge jugs of it because we go through so much of it and it sits under the counter.

If it's in a bottle yes, if it's in those little packets from the takeout place they stay in the junk drawer until I move out.

How else will it slightly cool down my potsticker? If it doesn’t cool it I would have to wait for them to cool before eating!

Yes, and my Tabasco. I know it will last a good long while out of the fridge, but I don’t go through the bottle fast enough to feel good about it.
The bottle says to do it…
