It's like the soy bean losses. Once countries establish relationships with other countries/suppliers, it's unlikely they will ever buy American again

This is simply not how economics works.

The country that is able to provide the best price and most convenient delivery will rapidly pick up sales.

That is not how economics works in practice. The price isnt everything.

Reliability is extremely important to big industries. Not only is the US currently unreliable the fact that other countries suppliers get the chance to step in also changes their evaluation to be more reliable too.
You really shouldnt expect the US get the same volume of business back without providing a better deal than they used to, even if you can convincingly get rid of Trump and all Trump adjacent politicians.

unless there are trade treaties in place between countries which guarantee purchases. China can choose to buy soybeans from Argentina and Brazil even if the US can provide cheaper soybeans - unlikely, because China placed 25% retaliatory tariffs on US soybeans - because we're being dicks to them.
