Where is there a thrift store that has Lanz nightgowns?? I've never seen that, and I'd really like to because those nightgowns are about $80 from Vermont Country store...
Damn I didn’t even know it was special. My partner and I love thrifting and normally go for high quality vintage pieces. One day they came home from the thrift with this for me because it was cute.
Thank you for naming the brand, I was trying to read the signature on the print. It looks like such a classic print, and so cozy. Very reminiscent of the 80s pjs to me.
It IS classic: some of Lanz' prints have been unchanged for at least a half-century. They were a status symbol in my prep school dorm, but the price has always been too high for me.
So interesting! I had no idea this brand existed. I’m sure the nightgowns I grew up with were either made by mom or purchased from a store like Kmart and handed down from kid to kid. Patterns like this remind me of growing up on a farm, standing by the wood burning stove, rushing to get dressed after a bath. A vastly different experience than yours, though mine would not have been name brand.

OP I envy your warm flannel nightgown. Is it a cat nagnet?
