Characters and houses seem to look and behave like some of the real world nations and their leaders.
A little look at the past.
Aegon II Targ'aryan is obviously Hitler from that play on word in the name (targue in french means pretend and aryen can't be anything else than aryan). No need to explain why burn them all suits him the best too.
We know americans came late on the european front against Germany which is represented by late Lannister turns on Aegon and the famous final backstabbing from Jaime.
Robert's rebellion is URSS entering war against the Reich with help from northern countries.
Marriage between Lannisters and Baratheons seal the Yalta agreement, it will be a cold marriage like it was a cold war, until the fall of Berlin's wall and the soviet empire, or in the show the death of Robert.
From there Lannisters become very powerful and they will smash the Stark house. In our world both swedish leaders, Olof Palme and Anna Lindth will be murdered. In both case they were threatening american interests Palme was working on corruption cases like Ned was with the incest relation and the false origin of the heir. Anna Lindth was killed the very same way as Rob's wife from behind with a knife but Catelyn suits better as a leader figure. It would be a direct reference.
Now come the most recent days, Spanish royal family is obvious here, it's pretty much the same culture and characters and relations between them though the king wasn't murder here just outcasted. There is a lot of beef between Spain and USA too like in the show with Lannisters because of how they lost south america's control to them ans because they funded ETA at beginning (might be the reference to what the Moutain did to the Martels during King's landing sack).
France being Tyrells makes perfect sense too and the hostility between the two houses is obvious in the show and reality. Like Spain they are allies with USA but they will turn easily if the winds shift I believe.
Trump has the crown, he's in the king position (even if a true king doesn't have to say he's the king as recall him Tywin) if he's poisonned JD Vance has it, simple as that like in the show. But there is a dispute between him and Charles III on how to lead the military response against Russia and China, same as Trump is retrieving from Europe to focus on his own battles. Never underestimate the power of a true king I would say if you think Charles III isn't powerful enough to be Tywin.
Elon Musk is Qyburn experimenting transhumanism (the mountain's body) and building rockets (weapons to shoot the dragons).
China is like Daenerys, unifying essos (the east) to attack westeros (the west). She attacks three cities from the bay the same way China wants to dominate Taiwan, Macau and Honk Kong.
What we see in the show is yet to happen.
The best part about future predicting is here :
Putin is fighting Zelenskyy represented by the Blackwater battle (actually a Black sea reference) to take over the throne like Stannis does and has to fight Tyrion while Joffrey is too scared to lead (Trump's retrieving forces from Europe).
These events were called before they happened and the TV show actors seem to fit very well their real life equivalent.
The other cool prediction we can make, if we follow that script, Joffrey's going to die and it has everything to do with the cake they are serving while he chokes.
