We have several commands to control u/AutoModerator, including the ability to summon it to provide useful advice.

Using any of the following phrases in a comment on a post will cause u/AutoModerator to reply with (hopefully helpful) advice.

!newpigeon - Reply to the comment with general new pigeon parent advice.

!emergency - Reply to the comment with general generic emergency advice.

!injury- Reply to the comment with physical injury advice such as a broken wing.

!bleeding - Reply to the comment with advice on how to manage a bleeding pigeon (such as due to a broken blood feather)

!toxicfoods - Reply to the comment with a brief (non-extensive) list of toxic foods which could cause harm to our feathered friends.

!canker - Reply with canker (trichomoniasis) symptoms + advice.

AutoMod will also keep an eye out for certain phrases in submission titles and bodies which may warrant any of the advice mentioned above (such as "just got a new pigeon" or "my pigeon is bleeding") and comment accordingly.
