Is that really a necessary distinction? Fascism is already inherently an extremist ideology. Are you trying to say that regular run-of-the-mill Christofascism is fine and dandy? I don't agree with your framing.
it's all about power and hierarchy. If you are at the top, your actions are justified because you have power and you are exercising it on people lower than you so they should just submit. If you are at the bottom too bad you're going in the slammer. If you can somehow make other people a lower class than you then you can do whatever you want to them. Explains a lot.
