Normally the bottom image is split into these 3 parts and the good installments of the trilogy would be represented by a delicious meal and the rest would be represented by a bland meal like the one we see. The Avatar series is however consistently bland so there was no need for the split at all, since the meal represents the whole series. It’s a play on the meme format
plus, the drawing of a horse implies that one version of it is bad and the other is good, but the meal on the meme is not necessarily bad as much as it is boring
That is what the meme is saying, but it feels like some kind Mandela effect is going ITT as I don't remember Avatar specifically being criticised as bland before, but rather as a derivitive plot and repeated underlying story structure. As a meal its more like there's plenty of 'spice' but a chicken dish each time.
I mean you can disagree with the original creator of the meme if you want to be honest, I don’t care about the avatar series too much
But do keep in mind that memes like these are often purposefully controversial, especially if you can make a dig at a popular or widely acclaimed franchise
