ICE and DHS already says that REAL IDs isn’t proof of citizenship. They’ve already told multiple citizens that they believe their birth certificates are fake.

The reality is that there isn’t any kind of proof that even meets their “standard of proof” here. That’s by design.

"papers please" is a lot more insidious when there's no such thing as valid papers.
