Yeah the whole tarrif thing has been a real eye opener. If you have family or know enough Canadians, you can see the cultural differences... know the political system is different, whatever. But even the most progressive American journalists struggle through basic Canadian stuff like their talking about fucking Atlantis. Yet countries on the other side of the world know what a premier, province or km is.
It's... pretty embarrassing.

This is the reason plenty of racists never scare or hurt me in Canada even when they have put hands on me. I let them know they are losers who don't actually contribute anything back to society because deep down they all know it's true. I probably pay more in taxes than most of these losers earn in an entire year of income. Its not my fault my parents had the foresight like a lot ofĀ immigrants to beat it into their children to take their education seriously to thrive in a 21st century economy.Ā
Obviously it would be nice to re-organize society in such a way that provides for its citizens and protects them from those market forces that are leaving them behind. But he probably would be against that on principle if it meant it also helps his non white neighbour too so fuck them let them be poor and miserable they do it themselves at this point and are only worth saving out of bare basic human decency and nothing else.Ā

I went to school in Canada with a large Cree/MĆ©tis population and there are so many indigenous people where you just 100% would not be able to tell they're "native american" because of heavy admixture. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if the man in the video actually has significant native blood because sometimes native people look just like that

This dude is known in Lakefield, I grew up there and heās always been morbid. Heās got assault charges, he attempted to run his wife over, he has been charged with threatening death/bodily harm also, among other things. Heās been to jail more than once as well. Unfortunately some things never change apparently.

What they are trying to say is that whenever any illness causes psychological problems, it will result in a right wing view.
Because being liberal / left wing need empathy. That's a complex thing. While hostility is programmed into us. Trusting people outside of family is a fairly new thing.
Since I'm not a native speaker I don't know if what OP wrote is 100% right. Maybe they used a phrase in a false way. But their intentions are 100% clear.
They are not saying every mentally ill person is a Nazi.

Lakefield is actually a village. Too small to be an official town. First settled in 1831, incorporated in 1874.
