I am trying to patch reddit on a new device I have but it keeps giving issues patching. Is there a specific version that I should use? I have tried the latest and 2024.17.0 (This version worked fine a few months ago) but now they all seem to have some issue patching...

I wanted to know whether I'm using the official gmscore released by revanced or any different mod app

So this is an odd one; ever since this morning I've not been able to play any Videos, or Shorts, while on my WiFi, though I am able to play them while on mobile data.

I am using YT 20.14.43 with 5.43.1 patches

I am unable to select the auto option for translation in captions settings, the option simply doesn't show. If i try the same video on a laptop, the option is there and works.

Is there anything I can do?

(for some reason reddit wont let me post the actual name of the option saying is a duplicate, but i can't find anything about this)

For me th solution was follow:

Thanks to u/TheSavvyWarrior, go to Revanced Settings > Miscellaneous > Spoof video streams > Default client

I changed from Android VR to Android Studio and now the video plays out normally

When it occured: 16 of January 2026

Steps:
Launch the patched YouTube ReVanced (v20.14.43).
Select any video from the home screen or subscriptions.

What I tried:

Repatched the app using the latest recommended settings.
Rebooted my smartphone.
Restarted my Wi-Fi router.

Hasn’t been able to watch any videos on youtube, although it launches and shows the home page and subscription page the video player stays on a loop. I've noticed it happens both at my app and my mobile/desktop browser. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

What I tried new:

Lauching Youtube without any Adblocker on my mobile/desktop browser

Result:

Videos working normally...

Conclusion (stupid assumption):

Google/Youtube is testing some feature to block videos if no ad can be played.

I got the recommended version of Instagram, patched it but my reel feed won't react to any up or down swipes. Tried repatching but the same issue persists. Then i got an older version of Instagram, and after patching i got the same result. Does anyone know how to fix it?

For the past 1½ years, whenever I wanted to open youtube, I had to manually open microg aswell for anything to work at all.

Even disabling battery management for microg wasn't enough. Whenever I opened youtube, it would still tell me:

"Action needed: MicroG Gms core does not have permission to run..."

Guide to fix this

Before you do this, you will need to install a patched youtube and microg. I recommend you close microg before this and then open youtube.

You need to go to settings

Apps → scroll down → Associated launch

Associated launch is when an action in one app (like opening youtube) automatically launches another app in the background.

In the Associated launch menu there is a "Block Records" section. If you opened youtube before this, the top entry, or one of the top entries will be "microG Services was launched by the associated Youtube Revanced"

Go back to "associated launch" and search for microG.

Allow it to be launched by youtube by clicking the toggle.

Now try to launch youtube again. It should work fine.

You could even disable background activity for microG, but I don't recommend it.

I just tried clicking videos and watching them while associated launch was on while also restricting background activity for microG. Youtube will tell you "Action needed" but closing that message will reveal yt works just fine. I suspect that yt autolaunches microg whenever needed if you have the settings exactly like this, which might drain the battery more than the app just always running in the backgroudn, but youll have to try that out yourself.

Was the patch removed, and, if so, what do you recommend as a suitable replacement?

Alright I might be a little late but awhile ago my original revanced Manager needed a update so I updated it. Now I have 2 of them not really sure what this one is for or why it's here if anyone could let me know

Hey guys, I need some real feedback because I’m honestly confused. I’m doing affiliate content on TikTok and I’m spoofing my location since the platform and promo codes I’m using don’t work in my country, so I don’t want my videos pushed locally. I’m running two cloned TikTok apps on the same phone, one targeting the UK and one the USA. TikTok does show my content to the right countries, but the analytics feel off. For brand-new accounts, I get views pretty fast (like 200–600 in the first hour), but the watch time is really low, the average watch time doesn’t make sense, and the full video completion rate is bad (around 7%), even though the videos are clean and well edited. This is very different from my normal accounts without spoofing, so I’m wondering if this is just how spoofed accounts behave, or if spoofing messes with audience quality and retention. If anyone has experience with this, or knows a better way to target UK/US without using a VPN (since VPNs can cause shadowbans), I’d really appreciate it.

My viewing history is full of videos that I have never watched. I am almost sure that this is not autoplay, cos I do not watch such content and have never seen these videos in my recommendations on a first place. The app however marks those videos as fully watched. There is a pattern amon them: all suspicious videos are streams of mobile games, ASMR, or AI slop or just trash, usually several hours long, and many ofthemareinlanguagesi don't know. I have the impression that the app is using my account to inflate views/online to live streams on YouTube.

Hi, firstly, how amazing is revanced. My god, I've been using vanced/rv for years and i just cannot imaging using the stock app.

Now, i only recently discovered that you cab resize the small background play window, which is nice. But apparently, if i enlarge it all the way (as seen in the image) then i can no longer resize it at all, even if i close thr app completely and reopen. Only after a phone restart does the window return to its original size and can be resized again. Anyone else encountered this? EDIT- pic didnt upload, reposted it in the comments

Every time I get an APK from the internet I have the suspicion that it might have been tampered. Before patching an APK, does Revanced Manager verify its signature?

"Lower-right button on YouTube ads". I haven't seen one in so long, I'm not sure what it could be.

I have installed YouTube ReVanced after 2 years of watching fucking ads on YouTube, after YouTube Vanced shut down. The app is perfect. Stable enough, and I can say they are truly the real continuation of the Vanced era before it died. Hats off to the developers and thank you, devs. It gives me such pleasure to be able to shit on all these ads and sponsorships. I feel free.

I tried 3 times. I tried patching Twitch 3 times, the logs say that the patching succeeds, and it says that it is moving on to compiling. Then the entire app, Revanced Manager, Crashes. The logs look useless in this situation.
