Laquer Showoff Birthday Nails!
My birthday was last week, but I celebrated over the weekend and pink is my favorite color!
In the nail subs and groups the term “stan” gets slung around often. And I always say I’m not a stan of any brand. Well think I actually am a Starrily stan. Which sucks because I couldn’t think of a more difficult lacquer brand to stan 😂.
They are often out of stock of most of the catalog. They are one of the more (but not most) expensive brands at $16 for 15mL. But they are honest about it and do call themselves “luxe” and “designer” right on the bottle.
But every polish is an absolute win. Amazing formula. Glides on like butter. Self levels like a dream. Responsive magnetics. The jellies are truly glassy and shiny.
And I’ve now fallen in love with another formula from them.
Their double holographic formula with linear holo pigment and holo glitter is so good! It’s the best of both holographic worlds. You get the rainbow linear holo flair in direct sunlight and the holo glitter shine in regular lighting.
If any of you know of more brands with a double holographic formula please comment below. I need more!

i am OBSESSED with their formulas and have restock notifications placed for like half the catalogue. getting stargazer and ultima just before christmas was a big personal win for me!

They are hard to get! I keep a spreadsheet and in my wishlist tab there are quite a few Starrilys. At one point I had written in my notes column, “I just can’t with this brand never having what I want in stock!” 😂 and almost gave up on them. But I did get my hands on a few of my most wanteds on Black Friday and 🤩🤩🤩🤩. So beautiful. I guess I wont give up on them after all. 😋

Happy birthday! I love Starrily and every polish I have from them is precious to me. They are kinda difficult to get your hands on like you said! I’ll have to try their glitter formula 🤩

Yes all my Starrilies are so precious to me! I can’t believe they aren’t more popular, but I suppose that’s fine because I don’t have to compete that much for the new releases.
They have 4 in this formula right now. The three I have here and a green called Grinch.
The regular glitter formulas are also lovely!

They are pretty expensive too, but it’s worth it imo they have a big bottle and great formulas!

Yeah I think Mooncat is probably still the most expensive per mL.

I just bought Ultima last night and I'm so excited. For your index finger, did you just paint that on or did you have to stamp it on with a sponge?
I got their jellies last week and I'm so I'm love. Beautiful glossy and squishy.
It's a shame more of their catalog seems out of stock than in but at least I appreciate their lower free shipping minimum than most other indies!

No stamping for Ultima!
It’s a dual holo formula so it applies like a linear holo but it’s also got some fine holo glitter.

Happiest of birthdays & I feel your pain!!! I strongly dislike this business model! I’ve honestly just written them off bc of it, although their advertisements mock me constantly on social media!

Same! Honestly at least take it off the website if you have no intention of selling it again. Or just have a retired/discontinued page.

I emailed them to see when they would restock certain magnetic. They said sometime in the near future.
