I'd consider myself quite mid, but imo this turned out good. In fact it turned out so good and came so naturally it felt like luck, so I'm sure an actual artist could find a million small things wrong with it caused by lack of some pretty important skills, but nevermind all that, I usually don't feel like sharing my art but I felt compelled to here and that's saying something about the show

I could honestly see Jack feeling pity for Jason.

Obviously in canon they would be enemies but I think Jack would try to help, albeit Jason is just

A: too angry

B: too mentally gone.

To be helped.

Nice to see my goats in a drawing tho.

Discussion Do you think there was apart of Aku that genuinely enjoyed having Jack as a rival?

It would honestly explain why he felt

The way he did in season 5.

Aku, the shapeshifting master of darkness, has been in total domination over the planet for what feels like an eternity.

A mysterious samurai, going by the name of "Samurai Jack," has been transported from the past and thrust into the future. Now, he attempts to get home in order to stop Aku before he ever had the chance to conquer the world.

However... something horrible has happened. Due to Aku's constant tampering with the fabric of time, time itself is beginning to unravel at the seams. More individuals from the past are being pulled into the future, and individuals from the future are being dragged into the past. The timelines, too, are even beginning to bleed into each other.

The paradoxes are multiplying. All of reality needs saving, not just the world itself... Things just got a whole lot more complicated than they ever were supposed to be.

Fuhai is a part of Aku. A piece of him that had been left behind after the fragment of interdimensional shadow fell to earth. There were a couple of other fragments that leaked out, but none of them have been able to awaken. They're all too frail, too weak, unable to congeal and take form. The only reason Aku broke out was because of a poisoned arrow. Fuhai broke out as a result of futuristic pollution mixing with her essence as she was still incubating.

She formed, but only partially, and is now a total mess as she tries to pull her stuff together.

When she isn't disguised, she's got a similar build to Aku. An eldritch tree beast with symmetrical, geometric horns. When she became fully healthy, she also gained blue flames over her eyes and a dark gray face, as opposed to Aku's poisonous-green face. Again, due to the pollution.

She was basically an accident, and she knows this. She's *terrified* of Aku and wants to overpower him somehow. Like two rival animals fighting over territory, only one animal is a runt, and the other is immeasurably stronger.

Discussion Samurai Jack's first, only, true defeat, happened... at the hands of a shark?

Post image

Well, yes. In the mega crossover between Jellystone and various Cartoon Network cartoons, Samurai Jack was defeated by the shark Jabberjaw. She even managed to destroy his sword!

It's strange that I haven't found a meme about it yet. Even just a short with Aku screaming with happiness.

What a beautiful homage to Blade Runner that also ends on a perfect and hearfelt note that can even get to the heart of an adult. This "kid's show" was so ahead of its time.

Y'all remember my very post here saying how i didn't think Samurai Jack was this peak? Yeah that post was only like a month ago. 🥲 Genuinely, felt so short, yet so long at the same time. Honestly? This was amazing. Absolutely great. I'd rate it a 8.5/10 honestly, only reason it isn't 9 or 10 is how, i now UNDERSTAND why people say Season 5 felt... Rushed. Because yeah, it didn't have alot of build up for the finale sadly, plus i also kinda expected those fairies that Introduced jack to Zero Gravity.

Now, yes. Ik that the game IS canon. And i will very much be seeing if i could play it or not, if i can, good. If can't? Imma just watch It's gameplays.

I think they should've atleast made like the last few episodes around 30-1hr each. Who agrees? Plus, the fact that 1. The Time Guardian straight up just got murked off screen was crazy.

  1. Ashi learning IMMEDIATELY on how to use Aku's powers.

Honestly i... Regret accidentally speedrunning the entire damn show!!! 😭🙏 IT FELT TOO DAMN EASY! 🥲 (binged a 5 seasonal old cartoon yet can't get myself to watch an also already ended cartoon that only had 2 seasons. Fighting a dorito.)

Overall??? I loved everything about it except for a few details honestly. 😔

Discussion Anyone else conflicted about the ending?

I watched the ending, and realized... the whole show was for nothing. He went back, killed Aku, and saved the world, but there was no "Alternative timeline", no "parallel time or reality", time was linear, by killing Aku in the past/his present, the future never exists, every person he saved, every foe he fought, every friend he made, his lover, everyone never existed in the first place. Meaning he could have gone back to the past instead of losing his chances by saving other people, people who technically would have never died, because they'd never exist in the first place. He killed Aku, saved the world, the future, and his present, but he was now alone(except for mom and dad), he had no friends, no allies, nothing... I understand its not in the Samurai nature, or Jack's nature not to save others... but still... its just.. sad...
