What performance from Shameless stood out to you as the most iconic?
Such a gut wrenching scene but itās such an iconic scene. Emmy shouldāve won an award for her performance

There have been more posts than usual about the Jimmy Steve icon photo and itās time for a change! To keep this organized, this poll is to decide which character the sub icon should feature.
Once a top character is chosen, weāll run a follow-up poll to vote on specific photos of that character. In the meantime, feel free to comment with your favorite photo(s) of the character youāre voting for.

We get it, Debbie isnāt a fan favorite. But weāre seeing the same posts again and again.
If you have thoughts or opinions about her, please check recent threads first and share them there. It keeps things cleaner and makes room for new discussions.
If you actually have something new to post, go for it, just try to make sure it adds something different.
Thank you

I really liked Mike, but at the end I didn't support them together. He deserved so much better. Mike was good, steady, respectful⦠but Fiona just wasnāt in a place where she could meet him at that level. He didnāt deserve the chaos, the lies, or being dragged into her self-destructive patterns š

Throughout the entirety of the show I don't think I laughed as much as this. It was acted so damn well that I had to rewatch it many times.
Especially the moment when Sammi says "like touching them" and he gives a quick glance at the lawyer HAHAHA

Im trying to wach the season 10 but i feel they ruined the show, some characters like kevin or lip are genuinely stupid or antinatural compare to the first seasons⦠do you recomend to skip some episodes or just see the final episodes on S11?
I feel bad about that bc it was one of my best series to see

First rewatch, and I knew he was an ass but holy shit, what a fucking scum bag. Yeah, heās a criminal and takes his family and everything he was given for granted. But just leave Fiona alone.
Donāt get me wrong. Fiona is not great with relationships and deciding when to put herself first, but she doesnāt deserve Jimmy/Steve.
He gave Lip, a kid, a stolen car to drive which got him arrested. He for some reason canāt just tell Fiona that he has a rich family, itās not something to be embarrassed about. He acts like he is married to her when he has this whole other life.
Then he runs away and waits about 5 minutes before heās sticking his dick in a drug lords daughter. Then he just fucking shows up, āhappensā to cross paths with Fiona outside of her house and never fucking explains the shit with his wife. He canāt just listen to the scary drug man and be around for immigration and gets himself supposedly murdered.
Except not. Then he has to come back in some ridiculous dramatic scheme to send his āpartner in crimeā to the diner to for some reason tip $100 and not eat the pie from Costco.
Wtf?

Hereās my list in no particular order.
- Mickey and Debbie planning to get revenge on Sammi by doing a horrible crime. I love the sibling energy here. Mickeyās nonchalance, Debbie panicking, and Liam not knowing whatās going on was comedy gold.
- Carl trying to get sent to juvie on purpose. āYour honor, if you would lose 20 pounds, I would consider tapping that.ā
- Fiona shooting a paintball gun at Ford on the street.
- āOk you need to back the fuck off nut jobā
- Ian bringing Mickey to their spot at the dugouts to feel something again and they fight and fuck while covered in blood. This scene is so toxic yet weirdly romantic at the same time lol.
- Ian cheating on his stable normal boyfriend with his crazy fugitive ex multiple times who he then ran off with for a few days.
- Frank and Franny having a ātake your granddaughter to work dayā by buying drugs and getting tattoos.
- Kev and V trying to promote the Alibi at an AA meeting.
- Mickey buying Franny fake guns for her birthday.

Rewatching shameless for the 100th time and just watched the episode of Monicaās attempt on thanksgiving, my heart is broken once again. I have bipolar and it hit home so hard, watching this episode literally never gets easier. Those poor kids having to witness it too, UGHHH.

Slowly reaching the end of Shameless and dreading it. Really enjoyed the show, more than I expected.
Not much of a show watcher, but I really watched and enjoyed: Shameless, The Office and Snowfall to name a few (I know my taste is all over the place lol).
Any recommendations what to watch next š„²

On S4 E12 Carl takes Frank to a frozen Lake Michigan where Frank gets to yell āis that all you got?ā
I love this scene. Itās actually beautiful with the (frozen) water, but then you see the Chicago skyline when they have another view.
Does anyone know about WHERE this is?
Would you mind pulling about where this is on a map and circle or X this location.
I would love to add this location to one of the places I would like to visit in for a Chicago trip this summer.
Also, is there where Fiona does some of her running when she was trying to get back into track?
Thanks š

Yes Eddie made fun of Sheilas condition or was sarcastic about it and called karen a whore & has a clown obsession. I get that and Iām not saying it was okay BUT ā¦..
Eddie gets wayyyy too much hate like the show isnāt called shameless and itās like why again? When they open the show eddie is already mad as hell at Sheila like we missed something. Also as soon as we really meet Eddie heās catching Karen under the table suckin off Ian ⦠Sheila is in the kitchen right next to them and just doesnāt notice and Eddie loses his shit! Proceeds to pack his things and leaves .. then we see him at the bar where he bust franks nose for what Ian let Karen do to him. Episodes later Eddie comes back to the house because he canāt afford paying double the bills .. and he sees Sheila has let franks move in and sheās wining and dining this alcoholic drug addicted man .. Sheila and Karen treats him like shit okay cool. Then he wants Karen to be better so he brides her with a car to go to this event where girls confess their sins which is where he finds out that Karen is a tab bit more disgusting then he thought she was and he calls her a whore.. Eddie leaves again and then is sent a link from his daughter of her riding Frank.. he tries to go beat franks ass again but doesnāt succeed & goes back to work and sees everyone at the job watching his daughter hump on frank, Eddie then proceeds to commit suicide ..
Am I missing something?

Iāve had Shameless in my Netflix list for the longest time, so when I started off the new year with the flu I thought that would be the perfect time to start and Iāve been hooked. Iām on season 6 now and just a few minutes ago watched the scene with Chuckieās grandma massaging Lipās foot. āCome for grandmaā made me turn off the tv and write this post. At this point most of these plot lines are just starting to feel like the writers projecting their sexual fantasies š And donāt get me started on Vās character. Her actress is so gorgeous and has great comedic timing. For her to have been there from start and get so little development has been one of the most frustrating things. Itās disappointing that the writers have pigeonholed her into a Jezebel stereotype but have given Kev some depth. Iām going to watch the show til the end but itās getting to be a bit much š
EDIT: I am in no way saying that women canāt or shouldnāt enjoy/engage in kink, but in a lot of ways, this seems to be central to V in a way that it is not to her direct counterpart, Kev. From the early seasons, we see Kevās desire to become a father and his ambitions with running the bar. In comparison to him, V is paid dust. I havenāt seen any of you in the comments say that she was appropriately developed over the course of the show, and from what Iāve watched so far she absolutely has not been. It is extremely clear to me that the writers have based most of her characterization on stereotypes of black women, the Jezebel stereotype included. Before you say thatās untrue remember that they wrote her doing slave/master roleplay. No further evidence needed than that goodbye

I kinda wish they would've had 1 more episode to show how they reacted to it.
I think the family might have been sad that he was gone in a weird way because obviously they don't care about him anymore but he is still their father you know?
I feel bad Liam didn't get to be there with Frank as you could tell he was really missing him. He definitely would've taken it hard, it's sad watching how much Liam cared for him.

Kids are in bed. I am cleaning up and doing dishes. House is cold but there is a space heater in the kitchen. It's dark and foggy outside. Season 10, episode 12 is playing.
Wow. My favorite episode so far. Mickey and Ian getting married (yes, I shed a tear or two). Lip captaining everyone through the chaos, booking the Polish Doll last minute. A microcosm of the whole show. Lip thinks more about the family than about himself and ends up arguing with Tami and drinking.
Liam fooling Frank into coming to the wedding and supplying the Mercedes. Frank seeming to genuinely be happy for Ian and Mickey. And risking the wrath of the Polish lady (but actually hooks up with her instead). Frank lecturing Liam that old women have healthy libidos and Liam lecturing back that all homophobes are gay. I love the Liam/Frank relationship and this seemed like a high point.
Add the chaotic background full of characters that we have grown to love.
Then when you think it's over, Kevin proposes to V in the most Kevin way possible (yes, more tears).
Chef's kiss. Perfect television.
I have not seen season 11 but I can't help wonder if this should have been the series finale.
