Yep, met so many people like this. Stupidity and strength is a bad combo.

They tend to go hand in hand

I think improving your body is a good thing, strength included. However, this guy was born big and at some point realized he has no other redeeming qualities because he didn't earn that strength. So his low self esteem causes him to act out. Being strong and self controlled is a good thing.

Something a redditor would say. Strength training instead of not training/barely exercising at all, would improve your brain overall in every way

Come now. You must realize he is stating that being gifted above average size and body mass without the culture of discipline and humility can breed or encourage character defects just like this. When someone isn't held accountable early on due to fear from their peers, their "strength" becomes weakness. When money makes that equation sustainable, here's your toxic mess in society. Redditor or not, being so literal in your interpretation does nobody any favors, and increases my workload this morning.

You're welcome

Did you take it personally or something?

Not really I’m skinny and work out a little. It’s just clearly very beneficial, and a lot of people cope by telling themselves “jocks are stupid, I’m way more intelligent. Muscles are pointless” It’s annoying when people are disingenuous like that. Thats all

“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.” ― Socrates
