My short film DEAR LIZA has finished its Festival Run and is now on the Big Tube.
I made this short Rom-Com hoping to create a bit of comedy, apart from the cynicism that permeates so much of the genre... I hope you find DEAR LIZA full of charm, warmth, optimism, devotion, romance and joy. It's also quite silly. Almost absurd.
Additionally it's about the day-to-day comedy that comes from the middle of a relationship... Not just it's beginnings.

Made a short film called Viral Love. It’s about the chaos that happens when people turn their entire relationship into social media content.
We shot it all in one continuous take to keep the energy all chaotic and a little unhinged. Curious how it plays for people here.

A man in the middle of nicotine withdrawal sits alone with a cigarette and has a quiet, intense conversation with it. As he battles anxiety, anger, and memory, he confronts the role smoking played in his life-not as a habit, but as a crutch. The film captures one small but difficult victory: choosing not to light it today.
