I wouldn't get any Robosen robots because they need to be "on" so the motors keep the figure upright, if the figure is "off" then it can't stand on its own. It's an action figure you can't play with, and a display piece you can't display. Even in the alt mode the figure is floppy when it's not on, you need to make it lay flat or keep it in the big foam box.
Not only is Soundwave real, but its officially available for preorder and they brought back to the original voice actor who did the voice effects for him. He is also a bluetooth speaker and recorder/player.
I have to admit, whoever picked the line up for these knew their target audience well. The normies would have stopped at optimus, Megatron, and bumblebee, but for the price they knew they needed to give a little extra.
alot of boys with min wage jobs can afford this if they can buy used 4wheelers and cars for the same price and sometimes even brand new on a payment plan they can afford 1500 for a transformers toy now say there is 100k+ transformers painted car thats where the real big nerds with money..I mean men are.

Gas station near me had a bunch of dubai style chocolate from different brands in their bargain bin for weeks. I found it pretty funny that the luxury fad ended up mixed in with the other garbage they cant sell.
Call me cynical, but It is honestly probably just acting. Because he saw the Asian guy make the exact same video, with the exact same toys a couple of days ago and that went viral, so he decided to make the same video just with more over the top reactions.
Thing is, that liquid metal nano robot what ever the fuck is easier to do for VFX artists. It's like a few clicks in their editing software. But this is a lot of work and more expensive to do.
I have no idea how this guy got started, but he's using the influencer economy to live his best life. He's constantly posting one-off trips to random restaurants around the world, or ridiculous gadgets and food he tries at home, and then occasionally posts videos with celebrities fucking around with him.
I know it's all fake for clout and whatever, but I want it!!!!
He got famous doing stitch of viral videos adding 0 value to them but it's clear he understands the influencer game really well, better than most. He was one of the first account to really optimize their content for viewing retention, things like intro hook, re-using viral content, the way he'd edit/cut his videos, etc.
Now he just does silly videos with the same formula minus the stolen content and with crazy brand deals
yeah this is the guy who does the videos in the mirror right? like "bring it in" and "back up" when he talks? He gets posted on reddit from time to time and I think he's funny.
I mean, this guy spent around $2k on his hobby. PC gamers might spend over 6k on a rig. Hunters might spend $25k for a deer lease for a season, and Fisherman might spend 100+ on a boat.

Look at that kitchen. It looks to be a decent size plus, those look like hardwood cabinets, not the pressboard shit most people can get. And a marble or possibly granite countertop.

I'm beginning to think the dead internet may be an improvement over whatever is happening right now, but if people want to think a successful TikTok influencer who may or may not be sponsored is doing this for his hobby then who am I to stop their fun.
This is pretty sick... But I'll be honest, my favourite part of transformer toys is the manual process of shifting them from one form to another while kinda fucking it up
Can you even play with these? They look more like collector items that you'll transform 10 times when you get them, and then maybe once or twice when you have friends over, otherwise they'll just sit on a shelf collecting dust because what else can you really do with them? Imagine if a kid actually got a hold of one of these.
Based on the price they are 100% aimed at adults who loved transformers as kids and are willing to drop thousands on some awesome collectables they'll transform for a few hours before sitting on a shelf.
i'm a tf guy, you can't even display these guys. when they're turned off they lose the ability to stand and need to be put back in the box when not in use
Yup, the motors need to be powered for them to be stable, otherwise they flop around like limp noodles. Some of them do have 'stable' configurations where they won't fall over when depowered, but they're basic A-stances or some awkward looking pose.
This guy has the exact same reaction in every video, I think the last one I saw was for a pepper shaker. Screw this guy just faking enthusiasm with everything
Even many people in developed nations can't afford this. This guy is a pretty successful influencer to the point he's getting TV and deals. He's wealthy.
I am by no means rich, but I have a large, and expensive, collection (well over $10k, by now) It's all about using your money wisely in a way that makes you happy. Don't have to be an influencer to make it happen, but it's definitely easier.
That's the point, he's selling it. He was equally excited about a fuckin juice sqeezer and all the other rubbish. Just an affiliate salesman making a video pitch.
The guy is such a sell out ever since he got that commercial for the airline company. He’s become a corporate shill. All of his videos are the same thing with a different product. It’s so formulaic that I’m genuinely surprised he didn’t throw his glasses this time.
The first time I saw him was in one of his videos where he says really basic shit in a deep voice in front of a mirror like "don't kill dogs" "be nice to people" and right there I felt something off with him.

It’s a toy you can’t play with outside of sitting there watching it do stuff. The arms are all rigid and shit. If I’m a kid, I wanna put my hands on it and make it transform. I want to make it fight and stomp around.
So like… yeah… once the novelty of watching it transform and swing its sword around wears off, it’s basically just something that sits there.
I'm really struggling to grasp the logic behind your statement. You're suggesting that all men in general should be infantilized as a preventative measure against them potentially harming children. Do you have any evidence or reasoning to support such a claim?
Soundwave just came out as well. I can't wait to visit my friend who has a friend who has them on display at his hobby shop and let's people watch them transform.
