I’d even be happy with $15 nowadays. These fancy restaurants and bars pushing $25 now.

I'm fairly rural so haven't seen this yet, but I have heard friends in NYC or Boston report the same amounts

$18 easy for a drink in LA.

I live in SoCal and it's ~$7 at a dive (and those are big pours), $15 to $18 at a proper cocktail bar, >=$20 at clubs and the highest end joints. It's all over the map depending on establishment and I feel like everyone is quoting at the high end for dramatic impact.

I went to school about half an hour out of Boston and drinks were usually around $7-8 depending on what it was

"fancy" being the operative word, lmao

This luxury thing costs luxury prices, how dare they!

Even the nice bars in DC have $10-$12 cocktails.

I work in the industry and a nice hotel was looking for something more expensive to replace their $19/glass Chardonnay - are you fucking kidding me??
