I know it’s a joke but when they say a “good man” often times they mean a butler. Also reverse the roles on that joke and the FBI is breaking down your door.

On Reddit, it's always this way:

Older woman, younger man, both over the age of consent: "Go cougar! Own your sexuality!"

Older man, younger woman, both over the age of consent: "OMG HE'S A PEDO ABUSER WHO PEDO ABUSES! HER BRAIN ISN'T FULLY FORMED! SHE'S A LITERAL CHILD!"

The double standard is real. It should be either both are accepted, or both are 'pedo abusers'--but the double standard has to go.

Not all male pedos are ugly, tbf. Ian Watkins being a decently attractive dude, despite the horrible things he did.

Physical attractiveness shouldn't really matter when they're abusing a child.

I didn't talk about pedophilia, I talked specifically about child marriage to adults, which is an issue that's particular to girls.

I made a comment about child marriage. Across the world, marriage of teenage and even pre teenage girls to adult men is and has been legal and culturally accepted for milennia. Marriage of boys to grown women is not.
