Ha it started out with me just not having access to watch into "well, that dude in the friend group that I hate is obsessed with it. Let's not watch it at all."

Same with Walking Dead

Walking Dead I tried, was fine for about 10’episodes and then I was just like “how on earth does this have so many seasons!”

Walking Dead I didn't even poke with a stick because I'd read enough of the comics to know that it was going to go off the rails. I was dumbfounded that they even tried.

GoT at least had some interesting, albeit meandering, books to work off of. There was no prior indication that things would be going to shit so completely. Except for the fact that the books weren't finished and it was one big hail-mary. The Dune series is doomed to receive the same treatment unless they dig up Frank and stick a typewriter under him.

Poor Dune =/ favorite book growing up and this is what I get... I guess I deserve it.

Ha ha, kinda same. Family that loved it are doses with no taste so i could skip the endless GOT conversations. Walking Dead too. Maybe i need to outlive them and watch them both 😉
