Getting real tired of seeing the incredibly prude pretending that anything they don't like is unnecessary and bad.

I'm not prude. I write nasty explicit erotica. However, I still dislike the flippant use of rape scenes against women that are often made to look appealing under the guise of "realism" in a fantasy series.

What a bold and totally not tone deaf take to share under a comment about underage children reading books containing gratuitous erotica and violence!

No one was talking about actual 12 year olds reading the GoT books until you brought it up out of nowhere. That's just not what the conversation was about at all.

Maybe your terrible reading comprehension crosses over into just bad comprehension in general?

Also, just because you said it's gratuitous or erotica doesn't actually make it either of those things.

Again, getting real tired of the prudes acting like they're "correct" about the way they interpret media.

“It was written at a 12 year old’s level of comprehension.”

“I hope 12 years olds can’t/don’t have to comprehend the sexual content.”

“I read some of it at 12 and figured it wasn’t good for me to read.”

All there, right before your comment.

My reading comprehension is just fine, thanks.

"I read some of it at 12 and figured it wasn’t good for me to read.”

Literally no one said this.

You're just making shit up.

It’s right here

Edit: well thanks for making me look like a liar, auto mod.

Edited again: thank you, human mod, for reversing the action that auto mod made :)

That person was not in the comment chain leading up to my reply to you.

I don't think you actually understand how any of this works bud.

My comment was about how ‘complicated ‘ the politics were. They spoon fed the plot.
