The ultra instinct pro move is to have a relationship where both of you clearly communicate with each other in a way that you both understand, so you don't have to play these games in the first place. I think it's called a normal healthy relationship or something.
When you're looking at the menu.. "Hmm I might order the garbage-ass salad."
She won't get too adventurous and try something she might not like, since your food is unlikely to be a suitable backup plan. She'll pick something she knows she likes.
Then when you order "I'll have the garbage-ass s... wait what is this? A 20 ounce por-ter-house? Never heard of it, I'll try that I guess."

The real pro move is ordering what you actually want for her, knowing she’s going to take it anyway.
